There is nothing more profound than the thought that someone loves you so deeply, that they want to spend the rest of their one and only existence doing so, and in turn, so do you.

Six years ago, T rocked up to my house, on his bike, wearing a white T-shirt & his school blazer to ‘look smart’. He pulled out a bouquet of white roses from his bag & nervously asked, “Will you be mine?”, I was abit confused because we had already been seeing each other for a few weeks so I replied “But I’m already yours?”…it took me a minute to realise that he was actually asking me to be his girlfriend, and to make it ‘official’ I still remember it so clearly. We were so young and naive but if there was one thing we were absolutely sure of, was what we felt for each other. We laughed, and ate some cookies & cream flavored ice cream after to celebrate the start of ‘us’ which unbeknownst to us, would become the best adventure of our lives. All these years later, and still with each passing day, I always think I couldn’t love him more than I already do, yet I know I will tomorrow.

To my fiancé, you’re the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me. Happy, inlove, excited..those are the only words that I can muster up to explain how the thought of marrying you makes me feel, and even then it doesn’t do it justice. To be yours, and you mine, is the absolute greatest gift this life could have given me. My stars are real damn lucky!

With love, your WIFE to be 💌

We celebrated 50 years of my mommy in the most magical place @lakeeland ❤️ We belly-laughed, adventured, ate yummy food, risked our lives in the name of fun, swapped out city-noise for the sound of nature & most importantly made the best memories! It was not my first visit, and most certainly won’t be my last ☀️⛰️🌴🦆🦒 taken in Lake Eland Game Reserve by @shan.carmin

All aboard the Inchanga Choo Choo! (round 2) 🚂

We arrived earlier this time and took a stroll through the market, got lost in the museum and got to watch the crew do their thing! We also went with new faces and got to make a whole lot of new memories! ☀️

Put this trip on your Durban to-do list! 🫶🏼
