Today, we stepped onto the green and competed in the Juneteenth Scramble hosted by Rho Eta Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha. We showed up with skill, grace, and lots of STYLE💪🏽💅🏽

The experience started with a rainbow stretching across the sky, and honestly, that felt like confirmation that something beautiful was about to unfold. 🌈

Being asked to bring the ACSquared Jewelry Waistbead Experience to Waist Deep in Veuve was truly an honor. I arrived ready to share the beauty, meaning, and intention behind waistbeads, but I left feeling poured into, too. I was surrounded by grounding energy, genuine laughter, and the beautiful sisterhood of the women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

Watching them celebrate one another, laugh freely, and choose strands that spoke to their energy reminded me why I love what I do. Waistbeads are more than adornment. They create space for reflection, connection, confidence, and choosing yourself.

And listen… I got to watch football, too! Y’all already know that made the experience even better. 😂🏈

You would never believe Shana Freeman planned this entire event in only one week. Every detail felt thoughtful, warm, and beautifully placed. Thank you, Shana, for trusting ACSquared Jewelry to be part of such a special gathering.

And Mariel, thank you for believing in me and continuing to place my name in rooms and spaces I never would have imagined for myself. Your support means more than I can fully express.

From the rainbow that welcomed us to the joy that filled the space, the entire experience felt like a reminder that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. This was sisterhood. This was joy. This was grounding. This was a moment I will carry with me. ❤️💚💛
