I absolutely love this trend and thought it would be really fun to do it with the cosplay squad, because despite being best friends for years and sharing a love of cosplay, comicon and photography, we have pretty different day to day lives!

Did I pick a date where I knew we'd all mostly be doing fun stuff? Yes. But realistically, who wants to see me working a 9-5 at my desk? Every hour would just be spreadsheets and research on Japan - which tbh is pretty fun for me at least. However, you guys would probably much rather see me judging at VSFIGHTING, Clara at Hadestown and Nat at FFXIV fanfest. However we did get some 9-5 realness in there, as much as movie extra, tattoo artists and independent burlesque artists can be 9 to 5 😅

I definitely want to do this trend again because it was really fun going through everyone's day and seeing life outside cosplay, sort of. Maybe next time we pick a day at MCM to see how much our days differ when we're all in cosplay at the same place 😅 by @shandelions

It's this clown fairy's birthday!!!! 🤡🌈💖 I'm at work today but it's already been SO lovely spending the day with my lovely colleagues and friends, and I had a great day celebrating yesterday too!! Just my face and some bits and bobs.... followed by an update in which I will overshare.... nothing new there guys!!!! 😜💘 it's the end of International Clown Week so it only feels right to post my face, it's also less than a week until my birthday!!!! 🌈💝 this year has been FUCKIN AWFUL tbh, maybe the worst ever for me, but the last few weeks have felt.... lighter..... I started taking antidepressants (yippeeee) and already I feel like they've genuinely changed my life. And I know you're thinking "Shan why on earth would you share this" BECAUSE my little petunias, taking mental health meds carried SO MUCH shame and fear for me for such a long time, and I can't help but wonder how easier my life would've been if I'd started sooner. So this is me, a clown, telling you, also probably a clown, that if taking meds will improve your quality of life, DO IT. I didn't realise until I got my prescription just how many people I know have been/are on mental health meds, and honestly if I'd known sooner I might have gotten help quicker!! Anyway, things are looking more positive; the future is no longer daunting, it's exciting 😇 Okay thats all love you bye 🤡💖

Part 10!!! Officially in double digits of my "the prompts vs. the clownsuits" series!!! 🤡 I'm so grateful for everyone who has put their trust in me so far!! Don't mind me, just a girl who waited 16 years to finally see one of her favourite bands ever 😭 and the fact that I did it in my MCR shirt I've had since I was 12??? Yeah, I'm NOT okay 💔 I started to get BIG into MCR when they released Danger Days, I'd always really liked them but that album made me obsessively listen to every other album of theirs too. Unfortunately, I was too young to see them on that tour and the year after, the band split. I cannot put into words how devastated lil 14 year old me was when that happened. Knowing I would likely never see my favourite band live. I go in and out of music "phases", and when MCR announced their reunion tour I told myself "that's too much money" and "you don't listen to them much anymore". I wad STUPID. The day after their Milton Keynes show I was doing a long drive, and I listened to my 3 fave albums in full. I cried almost the whole time, imagining the crowd singing those songs together. I swore if they ever toured again I'd go. And thank god they did, and I somehow managed to get front standing tickets?! And I got to go with some of my best friends who love them just as much as I do?! I know this is a lengthy caption which is weirdly sappy for a post about an emo band but genuinely this gig was life changing. I wish I could tell 12 y/o Shan that we did it, we saw MCR live, and it's everything we could've wished for and more 🥹💖 ANYWAY enjoy my photos from MCR Wembley N2 as well as some Baby Shan pics and let me know if u were there too!!!! taken in Wembley Stadium by @shandelions
