Glory to God!!! This is more than just a milestone! In 2 days I will finally walk the stage and close the biggest chapters of my life. About 6 years ago, I took one of the biggest risks of my life, coming from up north to Texas was a leap of faith and growth, especially since I didnt really have a father in my life growing up and I was also told by the world that I really wasn't supposed to be here in college but God definitely had other plans for me. Looking back in 2020 when my graduation was canceled, I felt my story was simply clearing the stage for a bigger act. I'm very grateful for all the memories and experiences I had and having fun with everybody as college was one of the best experiences of my life that I won't ever forget! College definitely challenged me in so many ways I never anticipated. God surrounded me with an amazing support system, friends, mentors, and peers who became the family I needed to keep pushing forward. This journey wasn't really easy but every late nights and challenges helped me shaped who I am today! This is a testament to the fact that my identity was never defined by the absence of a father. "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope a future. " -Jeremiah 29:11.
