First bodybuilding show✅ I’d like to thank all my family, friends and coaches coming out to support me. This has been one of the hardest things I’ve had to do physically and mentally definitely took a lot out of me but now I can say I’ve done it and came home with some hardware. Thank you to the OCB and all the competitors today yall made it a good one.

Been a long time coming, time to go become a marine🧑🏼‍🎓🫡…
Can’t believe I actually graduated from college. All throughout highschool I was told I would never make it to college let alone graduate. I’m a first generation male in my family to graduate from highschool and graduate from college. For the past 3 years I’ve spent earning a degree there’s been ups and downs but we made it.. my story doesn’t end here though I will be coming back for another year because I have some unfinished business on the track. I ship out in 3 days to bootcamp so till next year CM 🐴🔴⚫️❤️ taken in Central Maine Community College by @shane_johansen

Even though this season didn’t go as planned it was one to remember. Starting from indoor I was feeling the best I’ve ever felt and was hitting a PR in every event, unfortunately middle-end of indoor season I had appendicitis and had to have emergency surgery. This put me out for about 6-7 weeks which killed my momentum, this was a hard process but I took recovery serious and tried my best to be 100% as quick as possible. When the outdoor season rolled around I felt good but not 100% but I slowly built up during the season. Mid way through the season I was feeling great jumping 1.86m/6’1.25ft after this jump it put me 2nd for nationals seed and felt like this was my season to finally break 1.90m, unfortunately our 2nd to last meet my tendinitis came back and I was barely able to walk without it hurting I tried to do as much recovery as possible but it wasn’t enough. Sadly during nationals/conference my knee was killing me the whole day I was only able to high jump 1.70m/5’7ft and came very short of my PRs in every event definitely wasn’t my day. But in the end I’m proud of the @cmmustangsxctf team outcome, on the boys side we won our first conference title in school history and the girls got runner up in conference first in school history as well. As for me I don’t know what my plans are for next season let’s just say right now it’s not a goodbye forever more of like a see you later… by @shane_johansen
