I wasn’t going to do another one… but here we are.

IMMERSION
Women’s Business & Wellness Retreat 2026.

Because the truth is…

Women operating at a high level don’t need more information.

They need refinement.
They need precision.
They need environments that match the level they are stepping into.

They need proximity to conversations, leadership, and standards that expand them instantly.

This is what collapses timelines.

Not more doing.
Not more consuming.

But placing yourself in rooms where your next level is already normal.

IMMERSION is a private, all-inclusive 4-day experience on Waiheke Island, held inside a 5-star luxury property.

A space intentionally curated for women who are no longer available for diluted environments, surface-level conversations, or slow growth.

Inside this container:

✨️ Your business is refined in real time.
✨️ Your leadership is sharpened through proximity.
✨️ Your decisions become clean, precise, and immediate.
✨️ Your nervous system recalibrates to a new level of capacity.

With 1:1 personalised coaching, high-level group dialogue, luxury accommodation, private chef, in-house massage & a private celebration dinner at one of Waiheke’s most beautiful wineries.

This is not a retreat.

It is a recalibration of how you think, lead, and move.

And women who enter spaces like this don’t leave the same.

There are only 2 spaces remaining.

This will be filled by women who move when they know.

If that’s you, you can comment IMMERSION or message me directly.

I’ll share the next steps privately. by @shanitafriedlander

Its been close to 2 years now that I have been a qualified Spinal Flow technician.

I've incorporated this beautiful healing modality into R.I.S.E Women’s Retreat NZ for the last 2 retreats & have also been having close friends & whānau up home for treatment.

With the influx of individuals desiring & needing treatment local & in close proximity of Hawkes Bay, I have decided to open up a clinic space here in Napier, a couple days per week.

I currently have available:

1 x sessions (one off)
Concession cards: 6 & 12 sessions

These times & days are subject to change around my coaching business & another company i am launching next year (around healing).

Please dm me to secure a space as times slots are filling.

Ngā mihi,
Shanita

Kia ora, I'm Shanita

I've been rather quiet on this platform & and alot of what I do hasn't really been talked about.

So, moving forward, I'll be creating a conscious effort to share more.

To give a bit of a snippet into where & what I've done, here's a few to list.

😱 I've been an RFA (registered financial advisor) for 12 years

😱 Managed 5 offices & teams around NZ to grow thriving successful businesses.

😱 13 years ago I walked myself out of Financial hardship to now running 4 businesses with my husband

😱 4 years ago, I decided I wanted out of financial services, feeling burnt out & unfulfilled, so I started my own business online

😱 I went on a self-discovery journey reconnecting back to myself after 12 years of self sabotage in business, which led me into becoming super passionate about healing

😱 I became a Breathwork Facilitator, Spinal Flow technician & learning other modalities for personal growth.

😱 This led me to birthing R.I.S.E Women’s Retreats

😱 I'm the founder of: The Impact Through Wealth Model
This focuses on 3 main areas to thrive
- Business Wealth
- Financial Wealth
- Inner Wealth.

Because we believe that it all matters & is important not only for our personal growth & success but for many generations to come.

If you're new here, welcome & if you're been here for a while, kia ora.

Let me know in the comments what you do in business ⬇️

We talk a lot about the cost of investing.

We don’t talk enough about the cost of staying where we are.

In business, it’s called 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 - what you potentially give up by choosing one path over another.

Sometimes the most expensive decision isn’t investing thousands of dollars into yourself.

It’s another 6–12 months of:

- Running a business model that’s exhausting you.
- Holding onto offers or responsibilities that no longer make sense.
- Being so deep in the day-to-day that you can’t see your next move.
- Delaying decisions you know need to be made.
- Using your own capacity as the resource your entire business depends on.

Because that has a cost too.

Missed opportunities
Revenue you don’t have capacity to create
Ideas that never get executed
Time with your whānau
Your energy
Your creativity

And sometimes, your enjoyment of the very business you worked so hard to build.

This is why I created IMMERSION Women’s Business & Wellness Retreat.

Five days on Waiheke to step outside the noise and look at your business ... and yourself within it, differently.

Strategy, Rest, Beautiful kai, Massage, Nature, Connection.

And most importantly, space to think.

Because your next level may not require you to push harder.

It may require enough space to finally see what needs to change.

So perhaps the question isn’t:

“What will it cost me?”

It’s:

“What could another year of doing business this way cost me?”

Five years ago, my life changed.

Not all at once.

But quietly.

Through moments I couldn't explain.
Through whispers I couldn't ignore.
Through challenges that asked me to become someone I had not yet met.

And every step led me here.

To this moment.

For years, I have had the privilege of sitting beside people as they remembered who they are.

I've witnessed healing.
I've witnessed courage.
I've witnessed people return home to themselves.

And in doing so, I was continually being invited to do the same.

Ara Whenua was never an idea.

It was a remembering.

A remembering that healing is not about becoming someone else.

It's about remembering who you've always been.

That we are not separate from the whenua.

That our bodies carry wisdom.

That our ancestors still walk beside us.

That community matters.

That the seeds we plant today become the legacy our descendants inherit tomorrow.

This is more than a school.

It is a place to grow.

A place to remember.
A place to reconnect.
A place to walk alongside others on the journey home to themselves.

To every teacher, mentor, ancestor, friend, client, and whānau member who has walked beside me over the years.... thank you.

You have all left your fingerprints on what stands before you today.

And to those of you who have felt the quiet whisper that there is something more waiting for you...

Perhaps this is your invitation.

Welcome to Ara Whenua.

If you feel called to walk alongside us, I invite you to join our journey by following @arawhenua.

Whether you're here to learn, to heal, to remember, or simply to support what we're building for future generations, we're honoured to have you here.

This is only the beginning.

Ko au te whenua. Ko te whenua ko au.

With love,
Shanita

Tomorrow, something I've carried quietly for a very long time finally steps into the world.

And if I'm honest, I still find myself sitting with the weight of that.

Because this isn't a business launch.

It's not a new project.

It's not something I woke up one day and decided to create.

It's a remembering.

A remembering of who I am.
A remembering of where I come from.
A remembering of the responsibility we each carry to those who came before us and those who will come after us.

Over the last few days, I've found myself reflecting on my nanny's words:

"One day, you will stand where I stand. You will look down upon your own descendants, and you will see the impact of the seeds you chose to plant."

Tomorrow feels like the planting of another seed.

One that I pray will continue long after I'm gone.

There have been countless moments where I considered keeping this close.

Keeping it sacred.
Keeping it private.
Continuing to quietly do the work behind the scenes.

But some things aren't given to us to keep.

Some things are entrusted to us to carry.

And tomorrow, I finally share what has been unfolding through me for years.

To every person who has walked beside me.
To every person who has trusted me with their stories.
To every ancestor whose footsteps made mine possible.

Thank you.

Tomorrow, I open the door.

And perhaps, if you've been feeling the quiet whisper that there is something more waiting for you too...

You'll understand why it had to happen exactly this way.

See you tomorrow.

The more I look back on the past five years, the more I realise...

Nothing was accidental.

Not the people.
Not the experiences.
Not even the challenges.

Every chapter was preparing me for this one.

For a long time, I searched outside of myself.

Through healing.
Through leadership.
Through learning.
Through service.

I invested in programs.

Sat in ceremony.
Travelled.
Facilitated.
Built businesses.
Held space for others.

And whilst every experience gave me exactly what I needed, every path eventually led me back to the same place.

Home.

Home to my whakapapa.
Home to the whenua.
Home to myself.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped asking, "Why is this happening to me?"

And started asking, "What is this trying to teach me?"

That question changed everything.

It taught me to trust my guidance, even when I couldn't see the next step.

It taught me self-leadership when every part of me wanted to stay where I felt safe.

It taught me surrender when life wasn't unfolding in the timeline I had planned.

And it taught me that leadership isn't about having all the answers.

It's about having the courage to keep walking, so others know it's possible to walk too.

There were moments over these past five years where I questioned it all.

Moments I wondered if I was imagining the vision I had been shown.

Moments I questioned whether I was ready to carry the responsibility of what I knew I was being called toward.

But the whispers, the signs... they never left.

They simply became louder.

Looking back now, I can see that I wasn't being asked to create something.

I was being asked to become the woman who could hold it.

The leader.
The teacher.
The pou.

The woman my ancestors already knew I could be.

Sunday, I finally get to share what these past five years (& the 15 years before it) have been preparing me for.

And truthfully...

I don't think I could have shared it any sooner.

Some things need time to be lived before they can be taught.

They need to be embodied before they can be shared.

And this has been five years (more 20 lol) in the making.

Many don't know this part of my story & to be honest, parts of me didn't want to share this publicly.

But, I know that this will connect with those who understand the depths of this connection & the deeper purpose behind the story.

This is literally the one moment & experience that changed everything for me....

Five years ago, during a breath journey, I met a woman I'd never seen before.

She wore a korowai.

Her moko kauae.

Two feathers sat gently in her hair.

At the time, I had no idea who she was.

Months later, I would discover she was my fourth-generation nanny.

I know that for some people, this may sound difficult to understand.

And that's okay.

Because this story isn't about convincing anyone of anything.

It's about remembering.

Looking back now, I can see that I was being guided long before I understood where I was going.

There have been many tohu over these past five years.

Moments that couldn't be explained.

Moments that asked me to trust.

Moments that invited me to become who I was always meant to be.

And perhaps that's what this journey has always been about.

Not becoming someone new.

But remembering who we've always been.

Only a few more days now until I launch & over the next 3 days, I'll be sharing snippets of whats unfolded in the creation of bringing this to life.

Your business is growing.

Your calendar is full of private clients.

Your clients are getting incredible results.

From the outside, everything looks successful.

But deep down, you know your current way of working isn't sustainable.

You know there's another level waiting for you...

You just can't see how to get there without working more hours, carrying more responsibility, or sacrificing yourself in the process.

You're holding so much.

Your business.

Your clients.

Your family.

Your team.

Your vision.

And while you're deeply grateful for it all, your body is quietly asking for something different.

Not because you're incapable.

Because you've outgrown the business model that got you here.

Beautiful woman, I see you.

You don't need to hustle your way to the next level.

You need space.

Space for your nervous system to regulate.

Space to breathe.

Space to receive the same level of support that you so freely give everyone else.

Space to step away from the day-to-day so you can see your business through a completely different lens.

Together, we'll simplify what's become complex, create a business that supports your life instead of consuming it, and map out a clear, high-level CEO strategy for your next season of growth.

That's exactly why I created IMMERSION Women's Business & Wellness Retreat.

Five transformational days on Waiheke Island.

✨ Personalised 1:1 business coaching
✨ Luxury accommodation
✨ Massage and wellness experiences
✨ Beautiful food
✨ Rest, nature and spaciousness
✨ Strategy, clarity and a sustainable plan for your next level

This isn't about escaping your business.

It's about becoming the woman who can lead it differently.

There is now just one space remaining.

If your body whispered "yes" while reading this...

Trust that.

Send me a DM and let's have a kōrero. 🤍

Ps: Dropping an image here of the hot tub & pool you can be soaking in this year in October 🔥🔥

I think one of the greatest lessons leadership continues to teach me is this...

The capacity to hold others is only sustainable when we also allow ourselves to be held.

This season has been one of the most challenging and expansive seasons of my life.

Holding two businesses.

Supporting incredible private clients as they build and grow their visions.

Facilitating Te Haerenga o te Mauri and witnessing profound transformation within our communities.

Being a mama, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a space holder for so many people.

Walking through grief after losing my beautiful nan.

Navigating difficult circumstances with a former client.

And all the while, my body quietly asking for something different.

A missed cycle for nearly two months. (59 days to be exact 😪)

Fatigue, Grief, Stress

My nervous system reminding me that even meaningful work still requires rest, integration, and receiving.

What this season has taught me is that leadership isn't about holding more.

It's taught me to hold myself with greater care.

To strengthen my boundaries.

To trust that saying no to some things allows me to say a deeper, more wholehearted yes to the things that matter most.

Having a big heart for service is a beautiful gift, but without boundaries, even purpose-led work can become unsustainable.

The leaders who create lasting impact aren't the ones who endlessly sacrifice themselves.

They're the ones who understand that their wellbeing is part of their responsibility too.

Over the years, I've supported so many women to create businesses that honour their lives, their families, and their nervous systems... not consume them.

This season has been an invitation to live those values even more deeply myself.

Over the past few months, I've intentionally created more room in my life to receive.

Less pressure to constantly show up online.

More time in healing spaces.

More moments of simply being, rather than doing.

A beautiful mirimiri with Manawa Ora in Wellington reminded me of something we so often forget as women in leadership:

We too, deserve to be cared for.

Not because we've reached burnout.
Not because we've broken.
