Small town girl with big dreams and a big God.

I’ve probably said the word “Ypsilanti” over 300 times in the last four years during my Howard intro:

“Hi, I’m Shani Lewis, a Business Management major with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Ypsilanti, Michigan.” taken in Howard University by @shanixmichelle

Thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord.

I applied to Howard University on the last day.
You had a plan.

I left home four years ago as a first-generation college student with no a clue of what I was doing.
You had a plan.

I faced trials and tribulations and was challenged in every way possible.
You had a plan.

Thank you for this accomplishment and bringing me this far. I trust you with my life and what you will use me to do here on earth.
