I’ve always loved breakaway camp but being able to work as a staff member made me love it even more than I could’ve imagined! Seeing God move not only in the kids but also in my heart, showing me things I didn’t even know I needed, is something I will never take for granted. My biggest lesson was seeing how God moves and uses us when we put our yes on the table. He will always provide even if we feel like nothing is right. God moved in so many ways at camp this week and I am just so thankful for the opportunity to go this year. I’ve learned how Important it is to live for God every day and that we have to own our faith and feed it everyday. This camp has helped me in my walk with God, thank you God for all the years I was given at Breakaway and the way you move in our lives!!

Finally done with band!!

I have loved every minute with my percussion family and several other people along the way. As I close this chapter of my life, I’m actually pretty happy. I know that I’ll still see my friends because that is the kind of bond we have built, we’re family. I hope these people will still be apart of my life for a long time. I’m also proud of everyone especially myself for making it through this really difficult season. I’m personally glad I don’t have to put that uniform on ever again but I will forever remember the laughs, the friends, the memories, and all the bonding I’ve had with everyone the past four years. by @shanksfaith
