Your GIRL done did it!! Last week I graduated with a 2:1 in Creative Writing & English Literature from @uniofgreenwich and other than raising my daughter this is my greatest achievement to date.I come from the trenches where hope and dreams are crushed and we are taught certain things are just not meant for us. My Journey has been a hard one, So I would like to take this moment to thank my Mum for teaching me to be strong, resilient and never back down; my Dad for being my voice of reason and opening my eyes to a world beyond the hood; my Nan for teaching me what love is and supporting me; my cousin Shantel for being a role model; my Deonne for always making me feel comfortable to be my weird and wonderful self; my Siblings for being my why, cheering me on and babysitting; my Daughter for changing my heart and giving me daily joy; my cousin Cree for being a rock on speed dial; my bestie Remmi for everything; my Man-Dem for always putting me straight & seeing me; Simon for putting in the time and teaching me to read; and My lecturers for their encouragement.
