The Queen of the house is the big 12 today.

I think I’m having a harder time with it than she is. This year she got a new little brother (who has quickly outgrown her), rode shotgun on a cross-country move, perfected the art of the afternoon nap, and walks have slowly turned into leisurely little moseys.

These days, it’s less about adventures and more about letting her take her time, giving her all the snacks and cozy spots she wants, and simply loving her for a long, long time.

Waking up to an extra quiet house and a huge piece of my heart missing. Luna decided it was time to cross the rainbow bridge yesterday. 6 years was not enough with my monster and she will be missed so so much. Daisy and I loved you more than you’ll ever know Lu 💔 by @shanndalss
