Yes. You need a plan. You need the 2,5,10 year plan. If you don’t have it, be working on sketching that out. But you shouldn’t be so consumed with worry, fear, and stress that you aren’t enjoying the journey. Yes, often the journey is shit. You can have the ever loving shit kicked out of you on the journey, that’s part of the process. So yes…have goals, build things, go after ambitions and try and fail and try again…but don’t become so disconnected with the present that you miss it. The plan will pivot 1000 times so maybe, every now and again, focus on having a really good Wednesday. That’s all 🩷

At a place in life where the baseline vibe needs to be calm, peaceful, safe, stable, consistent, reliable. With those words at the foundation, you not only leave room for adventure, excitement, passion, calculated risk, and spontaneity, you actually encourage more of the healthiest forms of it. Sure there will be chaos, cortisol, adrenaline, and a sprinkle of anxiety from time to time but the goal is steady…unfuckwithable. It’s a journey to achieve it but I think it’s worth the effort to attain 🩷

Certainly there are more than 2 types of people in the world, but you would be wise to discern the anchors from the sails. Anchors: This archetype represents negativity, drama, doubt, or complacency. They weigh you down, keep you stagnant, and hinder your personal growth. They are uncomfortable with your evolution.
Sails/Motors/Lifeboats: These archetypes represent positive, supportive, and driven people. They propel you forward, inspire you, help you rise during challenges, and catch the “wind” of opportunity with you. Sometimes the sails can be harder to deal with because they will push you to get to that next level rather than quietly hope you stay exactly where you are. We all choose our hard. You can lead a purpose driven life or stay in your little box. It all comes down to that choice.

One of the hardest lessons for a big-hearted, growth-minded soul is realizing that your ability to elevate others is entirely dependent on their willingness to be moved. You can be the ultimate gift—the rare person who sees the potential and knows how to reach it—and still find yourself in the company of those who prefer the basement.
It’s not that you aren’t a blessing; You are! You were divinely sent and I believe that wholeheartedly, it’s that they haven’t developed a taste for the view from the top yet. Keep rising. It is a gift to see the beauty, the goodness, and the potential in others, even the broken ones, but it is still their job to see the wonderful in themselves. We all have a pivot point in life where we decide the way we have been no longer serves, and the ones that do the hard work to kill off the old self and build the new, they are they ones who end up living a life they can really be proud of. It is not easy. It is an ugly, painful, process, but there is basically everything you dream of on the other side of that growth. So tell people that you think they’re capable. Remind people that none of us really get where we want to go alone. And if you’re on the other side and you need help, never be ashamed to ask for it. There’s a lot of people that still have faith in mankind and we’re sitting waiting to hold that space and be helpful when we can ❤️

It is not always easy. Sometimes it is really hard. The kind of hard that gnaws away at your resolve. The thing is, that tends to be the space in which we learn what we would prefer. Resistance shows us what we do not want, what we are not aligned with. Hanging on too tightly, muscling our way through, thinking “if I do XYZ then I’ll be happy”. Sorry to disappoint you, but that actually isn’t how it works. Discomfort is necessary for growth but suffering is a choice. Inventory of what is in alignment, for our lives, our businesses, our relationships, our diet, the content we consume, the behaviors we have-is critical in order to cultivate a life that provides us abundance of all things, the most important of which is peace. Life will life, that is what it does, but returning to a strong sense of self and a strong conviction to alignment for your highest and best, that will keep you pushing. Bonus if you’re doing life with people that lift you up and give you the courage to pick up the scissors and cut shit out when needed. ❤️

Be yourself in all your bright, sparkly, shiny, glory. Take up the space. Radiate. Love isn’t meant to be a small, feeble, meek, thing. It is meant to be shared freely without expectation, offered without condition, and lived as a verb not a noun. Do not hoard it or withhold it, that isn’t self protection- it is self destruction. Love is the foundation of all the best things. The best collaborations, projects, friendships, relationships. Do not fret if you feel love eludes you, as I assure you, it does not. It starts with how you treat yourself and those who can do nothing for you. With how you show up daily. The gratitude and appreciation you give your people. I know that love exists because I myself and full of it. Give it willingly to those who need it, and some people sure do. “Love is willing the good of the other”. Love you. Happy February ❤️

There is a quiet, steady power in reaching a birthday and realizing that the most important person you’ve ‘found’ this year is yourself. I’ve spent a long time being a student of patterns, a holder of space, and a giver of grace-but the real breakthrough was learning to trust the clarity of my own intuition over the noise of anything else. Authenticity isn’t a strategy; it’s a standard.

There’s something special about a day dedicated to giving thanks. Not just feeling gratitude, but expressing it —

Happy November ❤️ One day at a time. Try to breathe and get back into the now. Maybe, just maybe, things really do work out. Maybe it is ok to trust, with discernment. Maybe 180s happen. Maybe good things are on their way. Maybe you can put the fear down and rest a little while. Maybe there aren’t any bullets in the perceived gun. Maybe things pick up speed. Maybe people will hold space for your healing as much as you hold space for theirs. Maybe you win a little. Maybe you even win a lot. You can always dig in the closet and try on a new way of being. You can also hold a little belief that others may find a new fit that suits them better. One they are excited to grow into. Maybe some are really trying to be better. Maybe it’s real. You really can be whoever you want as all moves we make are choices. Every day presents a plethora of choices in the closet of life. Choose wisely. Being a good person with good intentions will never go out of style.
