NCS Bumblebee short range test frame. I love doing Classic Space with an early NASA or VTOL flavour. a real rough-as-guts lunar vehicle with a slight insect vibe. So much fun!

Concept album cover doodles for one of my favourite Icehouse songs, "Sons" (1980). From their first album, when they were still called the Flowers, it's an eerie song likely inspired by a sci-fi short story about a small group of humans that wake up at the end of time. Who gave them this terrible 'gift', to witness the end of the universe??? I love when a pop song can transport you a billion years into the future. Icehouse is still my favourite band and Iva Davies is a legend!

The chorus is "The Sons of Decay" so I changed the cover title to that as it's more 🤘

All of the images used are from the Wikimedia Commons 💚 The central figure is a mannequin.

This idea looked better in my head. Not sure which is better: having Barbie larger in the frame or smaller so the flowers are more visible. Maybe it's something to revisit later.

Also, I suck at posing Barbie! Ugh, I need to resort to reference photos.

A Rygus Authority ship docks at a Kiilaan prison facility, unloading new convicts. A 6x6 (ish) Lego microscale sci-fi location.

Went to a toy fare today with my wife at Caribbean Gardens and we both picked up something little: she got a Sylvania Families princess pack and I got this extremely chromey "Righteous Fighter" Robocop knockoff for $20. Here he is next to my old NECA one.

Mars Mission recovery Drone from 2013. for a little while there I was obsessed with building Mars Missions mocs on Flickr. some I did weren't the best but some were kinda cool. This was always a favourite: a drone that could venture out in all Martian weather conditions and recover broken down rovers and crew.

You would think that daydreaming about being a woman every day would make dreaming about it more likely but no? I've tried some techniques to supposedly induce waking dreams but without any luck so far. Dreaming about being a different gender is probably the safest way for me but I've only ever had two dreams as a woman, that I can recall. Why are most dreams just mundane trash?

Every night is another chance, gotta keep trying. And when it does happen, I'll remember it for the rest of my life.
