Of course we had to be The Greatest Showman this year. We spent nearly half the year listening to the soundtrack and watched the movie only three dozen times 🎶🎪

Trick or treating was all fun until we were rained out! Happy Halloween to you! 🎃 by @shannonlmcelroy

I’m not sleeping much with Annalise barely 4 weeks old, so naturally, I’ve slowed down my days.

But my bigs still need me. And sometimes, it’s not in the ways we think they do.

Sometimes it’s little moments like this. Meyer taking a few minutes to do MY hair before heading off for a long day of school.

I was reminded this morning that even though I’m not there for every drop off, pick up, or practice (hello mom guilt), my girls aren’t keeping score.

They just want their mom. And these small moments count, too.

Shoutout to Dennis for the 3–8am shift today and always doing whatever it takes for our family. #familyof5 #daughters by @shannonlmcelroy

I feel so lucky, but giving our daughters two sisters is the greatest gift. Imagine growing up with two built-in best friends 🎀🎀🎀 by @shannonlmcelroy

The man who does it all.

Happy Birthday, I love you forever and always!

38 never looked so good 🔥

Three weeks with baby Annalise, and it’s hard to imagine our family without her.

A little behind the scenes from our newborn shoot this morning with @danirae.photography. Moments I’m grateful we’ll always have to look back on.

Shannon, I love you. Thank you for everything you pour into our family. For making our house a home, for growing this family with me, and for being such an amazing mom to our girls. I know how much you give every day, especially in this season. I see it, and I’m so grateful I get to do this life with you.

Meyer and Laney are so excited about their baby sister. Watching them love on Annalise has been one of my favorite parts of these past few weeks.

My wife. My three girls. This home we’re building together.

Grateful for this life. 🙏🏻 by @shannonlmcelroy

Anna is two weeks old - who does she look like?!? by @shannonlmcelroy

Sweet moments I want to bottle up and hold onto forever! by @shannonlmcelroy

I planted these back in April, and now they’re on their last leg. 🌿 Crazy how fast time flies. The first photo was our house under construction when we bought it in 2024, the second when I planted these, and now here we are mid-October.

Life is beautiful and moves way too fast. Watering this morning was a good reminder to enjoy the season i’m in. 🤍

Also caught a cute big dog butt because he’s my shadow wherever I go he goes! by @shannonlmcelroy

9 days into recovery 🤍 I took it slow this time and spent the first week in bed and on the couch… It was my first SOLO morning with Annalise today and look at all the movement!!! And progress!!

It feels good to really listen to what my body needs postpartum and accept all the help

Thank you to my family and friends for the texts, calls, visits, meals, baby holding, entertainment, showers, naps, love, etc etc etc - Also to everyone on this platform who shared our joy and sent a congratulations to us. I appreciate you all so much! And to Dennis who is the best husband and dad and for believing in me even when I couldn’t… you rock and love the life we built together. Ok now I’m crying lol. And to my big girls for spending their week off school helping this mama figure out how to do life with three.

I’m grateful for this new slow pace/season. For really loving the newborn stage. And for giving myself grace. The 15 minute walk outside was the best feeling, too. It feels like Fall ☁️🍁 love yall by @shannonlmcelroy
