My 5-Step Silk Press Class for only $75 is coming very soon!

In honor of having my first human baby, I’m paying homage to my first baby, SSBeauty Hair Salon. My brick-and-mortar is going on 9 years old, so why not share the secrets behind the very style that has helped me open this business, maintain this business, make a yearly 6-figure income, and book thousands of appointments over the years?

I truly don’t even know where to begin. 🥹💙 This baby shower was everything I could have imagined and MORE!

I’m so grateful to have such an amazing village of family and friends who love and support me, Allan, and our sweet Baby Allan. The amount of love that was in the room meant more to me than I could ever put into words. 🧸💙

From the decorations, catering, photography, games, and hosting to everyone who helped behind the scenes EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. Every little detail, every helping hand, and every person who came out to celebrate our growing family made this a day I will truly never forget.

My heart is so full. 🥹 I could not have done any of this without you all, and I’m beyond thankful for everyone who poured so much love into making this day special for us.

Baby Allan isn’t even here yet, and he is already surrounded by SO much love. 💙 That alone means everything to me.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for making our baby shower more beautiful and memorable than I could have ever imagined. 🧸🍯💙✨

I was just featured in Voyage ATL Magazine, and while reflecting on this journey, I found myself looking back at all of the features, panel discussions, events, and opportunities I’ve been blessed to be a part of since opening my salon and even before then.

And I just feel blessed. 🥹🤎

No matter how big or small the feature, event, or opportunity may be, I’m grateful to be seen by my community and loved in the way that I am. There has always been more love than hate, and I thank God for that.

I’m thankful that people see me for who I truly am: an entrepreneur who is passionate about what she does and, most importantly, passionate about people. That has always been at the heart of everything I do. As long as I continue to lead with passion, purpose, and genuine love for people, I believe God will continue to bless the work of my hands.

My journey started in 2009, as a high school student in Tallahassee, Florida, doing hair. Then I became the college student doing hair out of a student apartment. Then the licensed hairstylist working in salons. And eventually, the stylist who stepped out on faith and started opening her own shops.

When I look back at it all, I can only say thank you, God. 🙏🏾

And thank YOU to everyone who has supported me, booked with me, shared my work, spoken my name in rooms I wasn’t in, invited me to events, featured my story, encouraged me, and simply believed in what I was building. I have greatly appreciated the love and support throughout all these years.

From that high school girl doing hair in 2009 to the woman and entrepreneur I am today… I’m grateful for every part of the journey.
