Healthcare and the law… two of my favorite things. 🖤Beyond grateful to be named a Black Health Connect 40 Under 40 honoree, surrounded by some of the most brilliant healthcare professionals in the country. Views from the Front Pew. 🙏🏾Happy 30th Pastoral Anniversary to my parents, Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Kirkpatrick G. Cohall and First Lady Min. Dr. Sophia Cohall. Thirty years of servant leadership, sacrifice, and authentic commitment to Lenox Road Baptist Church.Our family has sacrificed so much to fully commit to leading LRBC. Most people will never know the sacrifices y’all have made, but I’ve had a front row seat, and I’m in awe. I honestly don’t know a life without LRBC. Our church, our community, and our city are blessed because of y’all.I’ve watched people, friends, and others come and go, and yet y’all remained steadfast in leading this church family, not with perfection, but with grace and love. Thirty years of carrying the burdens, joys, and concerns of others while still holding up our own family.Love y’all. To CBAA with love,“I’m just tryin to be me. Doing what I gotta do.”Overwhelmed with so many emotions from this incredible CBAA 50th Anniversary weekend of love, fun, joy, empowerment, and community. We honored our founders, celebrated our members, and secured the future for our students…AND we partied 🎉. Thank you to everyone who assisted in making this weekend possible and thank you for believing in this Black girl from Brooklyn. Lots of folks said I was too ambitious to think we could pull off a celebration and fundraiser for CBAA in the current political climate, or that it wasn’t feasible to raise money for this organization…when we raised over $320,000 in the span of 3 hours, or that we should scale back the weekend…I stopped listening to people telling what they thought I couldn’t do and just showed them instead. Stepping into a new chapter as an entrepreneur and law firm owner has been quite the journey!! 🎉 The best part? Having the freedom to design my own schedule. It’s allowed me to reconnect with my passion for giving back, spend time with my family, and work from my rooftop. However, I have had to make some sacrifices and be more cautious with my coins, but God! And just like that, I’ve completed my Master of Law (LL.M.) in Law, Tech & Entrepreneurship from Cornell Law/Cornell Tech! 🤭🎓❤️This journey has sharpened how I serve founders & startups through The Cohall Firm…with deeper insight, stronger strategy, and next-level support.Balancing grad school, my firm, church, leading CBAA, and staying active in my community (a non-negotiable for me) made this year one of the hardest…BUT GOD. 🙌🏾Grateful.
