Welcome to 36 a true girls’ girl 💓

People always ask why I’m so nice and welcoming… it’s because I have a light in me that no one can dim. I go through it to get through it, but this smile? It’s never changing.

I am healthy, happy, proud of me… and yes, I am 36 🤣🤣🤣

The glue that holds our family together. The quiet strength. The safe place. One of God’s strongest soldiers.

You carry so much with grace, faith, and a heart full of love. I don’t know how you do it, but I know we are all better because you do. You pray us through, love us through, and stand tall even when life tries to shake you.

I truly don’t know what I would do without you. You are my backbone, my voice of reason, my biggest supporter, and the one I can call about absolutely anything. My life is better because you’re in it.

This weekend I did something so random… or maybe it wasn’t random at all—maybe it was God. ❤️ I felt it on my heart to do something, so I gathered a few special ladies without even telling them what or why. And you know what? Every single one said, “Shanece, I’m there.”

I planned in silence—only Jr and my best friend knew the full details. No room for doubt, no time for hesitation… just faith and action. And what I witnessed this weekend was the birth of something so beautiful—a new baby, right before my eyes.

Fast forward to the day, sitting in a room full of women who still didn’t fully know why they were there… and when I finally shared, the love in that room was EVERYTHING. The conversations, the tears, the honesty—it was healing. I didn’t do this to “throw an event.” I did this because it was in my heart. Because WE, as women, NEED this. And we’re done letting fear or judgment stop us. Period. 🙌🏽 THANK YOU to everyone women in the room.

A huge THANK YOU to @Eyecandii who said, “I got you, I’ll speak,” without even asking what this was all about—she came and poured into us beautifully.
And another HUGE thank you to my Aunty Char, my surprise speaker! She’s no stranger to empowering women, and when she shared why she does what she does—it was ALL God and ALL heart. Thank you both so much for blessing us with your presence and words. Another thank you to my partner Jr who worked behind the secen for me to make everything go smooth love you beyond words.

The messages, the love people have shown me since… I’m overwhelmed. This isn’t an event you come to just to say you were there. This is an experience—you leave different, loved, and seen.

We Are One Women’s Brunch… this is just the beginning. 💕
