Happy 28th Birthday to our little sister, Izzy!! 🥳💙

We hope you know just how incredibly proud we are of you, not only for everything you’ve accomplished, but for the woman you’ve become. We are so grateful to have you in our lives, and honestly, we don’t know what we would do without you sometimes.

Thank you for ALWAYS bein there when we need you, for being our voice of reason when we need someone to talk some sense into us 😂, for being our best friend, and for being the strong one when the rest of us are having a moment of weakness. Thank you for always showing up, always listening, and always having our backs no matter what.

And of course, thank you for ALWAYS makin us watch the most depressing, sad-ass movies you can possibly find even though we tell you we DON’T want to watch them 😂😂 Somehow we still end up sittin there watching them with you, crying our eyes out and wondering why we let you pick the movie AGAIN. 🤦‍♀️😂 But honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way because those are the little things and memories with you that we’ll always cherish.

You have accomplished so much in your 28 years, and we hope you take a minute today to look back and be proud of yourself too. We know without a doubt that Mom would be SO damn proud of you and everything you’ve become. We just know she’s up there braggin about her baby girl and smiling that big beautiful smile of hers. 🥹💙

Keep kickin ass at life, Iz. Keep chasing those goals, keep dreaming BIG, and don’t EVER give up on the life you want for yourself. Even when life gets hard, remember just how strong you are and how far you’ve already come. There is so much more waiting for you, and we’ll always be right there beside you, cheering you on through all of it.

We love you more than you’ll ever know, little sister. Thank you for being YOU, for being our sister, our best friend, our voice of reason, our strong one…and apparently our personal supplier of emotional trauma through movies. 😂💙

Today hits a little different. Today is your last first day of high school, Hayden. Your Senior Year. 🥹

I can still picture your very first day of kindergarten, that little boy with his backpack, ready to walk into a whole new world. I remember wondering how I was supposed to let you go and trust someone else with you for an entire school day. And now, somehow, that little kindergartner is walking into his last first day of school. Where did the time go? 😭

From that first kindergarten classroom, to elementary school, middle school, and then three years ago watching you walk in for freshman orientation…every first day has brought us one step closer to this one. But nothing could have prepared this mama heart for the feeling of knowing this is the last one.

I wish I could go back for just a minute and tell that kindergarten mama to soak it all in, the little backpack, the first-day pictures, the hugs before school, and even the tears, because one day, way sooner than she thinks, she’ll be standing here looking at a handsome 18-year-old senior wondering how all those years went by so fast. 🥹💙

This year will be filled with so many lasts, and I know each one is going to tug at my heart a little more. But I also know they’re making room for so many incredible firsts that are waiting for you.

Hayden Jude, soak up every single moment of this year. Take the pictures. Laugh with your friends. Make the memories. Enjoy the little things. Don’t be in such a hurry for what comes next that you forget to enjoy where you are right now.

We are so incredibly proud of the young man you have become. That little kindergarten boy had no idea what was ahead of him, and now look at you, Class of 2027! 🎓

From your very first first day to your very last first day, it has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives to watch you grow.

. .Today you would have been 61 years young, Mama. Oh, how we wish we could be celebrating here with you here, hearing that beautiful laugh, seeing that smile that could light up an entire room, and getting one of those hugs that somehow made everything feel okay.

There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t think about you, talk about you, or wish you were here for all of life’s moments, the big ones and the little ones. So much has changed, and there are so many things we wish we could sit down and tell you.

I especially wish you were here to see your Hayden Jude and the young man he has become. 🥹💙 You would be so incredibly proud of him, Mama. I know you’d be cheering him on through every milestone, probably bragging about him every chance you got. I wish more than anything that he could have you here beside him for all these special moments, but I know you’re watching over him every step of the way.

You had such a beautiful heart. You always saw the good in everyone, loved with everything you had, and were one of our biggest cheerleaders. Losing you left a space in our hearts that no amount of time could ever fill. We’ve learned how to keep going, but we will never stop missing you.

Today, we celebrate YOU, your life, your love, your beautiful soul, and every memory you left behind. I hope Heaven is throwing you the biggest birthday celebration today. I hope you’re surrounded by everyone we love and miss, laughing that unforgettable laugh and smiling down on us. 🕊️
