PHOTOSTORY: 8 - THE GRAY TOWN OF GRAVEYARDS

Once upon a time, in a vibrant land where green and blue thrived in a beautiful bond, brown stood as a loyal witness to their harmony. This serene existence was shattered when a newly crowned king, filled with admiration for gray and disdain for the green, arrived in the realm. The lush expanse filled with green angered him and wounded his ego, leading him to believe that everything should be gray, reflecting what he perceived as the true nature of humanity.

When the king discovered that his animosity was rooted in the love shared between blue and green, he felt compelled to act. He ordered his army to separate the two, unaware of the deep strength that united them. The army quickly realized that their bond was far more powerful than they had imagined; they could not tear them apart. This failure only fueled the king's anger further.

In a moment of rage and desperation, the king made a heartbreaking decision to create a barrier between them by attempting to extinguish one of the colors. He ordered the execution of numerous greens, erecting gray tombs over their lifeless forms, believing this would assert his dominance. Blue and brown watched in despair, desperately wanting to save green but ultimately feeling helpless to intervene.

As green began to fade from blue's dreamy eyes, a profound sorrow engulfed blue, leading him to drown in his own tears. Brown, feeling a painful disconnect from both, stood by, powerless to change the unfolding tragedy.

PHOTOSTORY - 7 - THE LAST LEAF
Long after the apocalypse had devastated the earth, humankind had dwindled to almost nothing. At corner of the world, a last tree was standing on the brink of death. All of its leaves had fallen off and died except for one lush green leaf clinging to a withered branch. It was terrified after witnessing the end of all living things on earth. Like in the story by O. Henry, the tree was holding onto its last hope of survival through this last leaf. So, the leaf refused to give up, believing that a new life once again will flourish on earth, everything that breathes and moves, hurts and heals, prays and curses, loves and dies. As he was about to release his grip on the branch and take his final flight, an older voice interrupted him. It was the tree speaking its last words to him."This might be the last time that we are talking. But when you leave the hold of that branch, do one last favour to this beautiful planet and humankind. You'll have to tell our story to the kind that'll reign the earth again of how we were there when the Earth was born and how much we have endured, the heat, the rain, the storm, and even the apocalypse. Yet, we still haven't lost hope! Whenever anyone hears our story, It'll give them hope. Being hopeful is a primary characteristic of nature! I was yours, and tomorrow you'll be someone else's! The voice of the tree gradually dies. So, the leaf decides to become the embodiment of nature's identity by not disappearing into the barren soil. With renewed but fleeting enthusiasm, he releases himself from the hold of the branch the leaf sways in the air and descends towards the ground. Suddenly, a gust of wind lifts him off the ground and carries him away to a far-off place where he lands safely. He lives and spends his last days there, during which his colour changes from green to yellow to brown. Before he takes his last breath, he leaves his mark on the surface, remembering what the tree had told him. Now whenever any living kind passes by, it bears witness to the mark of its veins on the surface, telling the story of how beautiful nature is and how it remains the embodiment of strength and hope for humankind! by @shardul183
