Welcome to Revolver Falls - the highest single drop waterfall in @australia! 😮 At a staggering 130 metres tall, the falls can be found in the Carr Boyd Ranges near Kununurra in #thekimberleyaustralia. These formidable falls are best seen on a scenic chopper flight just like @angeflangee experienced here. If you're looking to tick these beauties off your bucket list, here's where you'll find them. 👉🚗 From #Cairns, drive 1.5 hours to the Palmerston section of Wooroonooran National Park (between Millaa Millaa and Innisfail.) Hands up - who's keen for a roadtrip? 🙌 This is @alexweir_'s shot of the winding roads of Tassie's West Coast, weaving through the other-worldly landscape that surrounds the historic mining town of Queenstown. Tucked away in this martian-like terrain, Queenstown is the largest settlement on the West Coast and was once the world's richest mining town, with gold and copper resources attracting prospectors from around the globe. The scenic drive into the valley spirals down with more than 90 bends, giving visitors a stunning window into the brutal history of Tassie's mining past and the sheer power of Mother Nature as she reclaims this wild west landscape. According to @jesse_ehlers: “running back to the line up before the sun disappears after getting an epic wave would have to be one of the best moments in surfing”. It’s hard to disagree with that sort of sentiment here at Knights Beach in Port Elliot, where bodyboarders are set to snag plenty more golden moments of their own over the summer months. How's this for a day at the beach? ☀️This is Silica Beach and not only is it pretty as a picture, but it's rather unusual in that the 150 metre stretch is made up of pure white silica sand - the only one of its kind on the Kimberley coastline. You'll find this beauty on the mysterious sounding Hidden Island, part of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Despite the name, experts like @kimberleyexpeditions will have no trouble getting you here. In fact, we think a cruise in #thekimberleyaustralia is just one of many reasons you should be visiting @australiasnorthwest in 2018.
