Today, I officially close the chapter on one of the most transformative journeys of my life, which is serving as the Faculty of Science and Technology Guild Representative for the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

I walked into this role with vision, hope, and a heart full of intention. I’m leaving with even deeper wisdom, quieter strength, and the quiet satisfaction that I gave it my all.

This journey stretched me mentally, emotionally, & spiritually. It taught me that leadership is not always loud or glamorous. Sometimes, it’s being the first to show up and the last to leave. Sometimes, it’s showing up when no one notices but God.

🌱 Lessons I’m Taking With Me:

- You can lead with a heart and still shake rooms.
- Boundaries are not selfish, they’re necessary.
- Legacy isn’t what you do. It’s what remains when you’re gone.
- Grace is a survival skill. So is faith.
- God never calls without covering.

This role taught me to serve, but it also taught me to let go of perfection, of control, and of the need to always be strong. And in that letting go, I found clarity.

Thank you to all my FST STARS who trusted me, every committee member & friend who anchored me, and every late night that turned into growth⭐️.

My heart is full. And I’m at peace.

‘The Lord stood with me and gave me strength.’ - 2 Timothy 4:17

From receiving to handing over- full circle moment🥹. Last year, I stood on this very ground temporarily disabled, unsure of what the future held. But God, in His faithfulness, had already written the story.

@catlloydjm handed over with grace, and unknowingly handed me strength. This year, I stood tall- grateful, grounded, and graced. Through it all, God kept me.
