ok pretty hens might have just ruined rotisserie chicken for me everywhere else 🐔

i went in ready to rate everything. the chicken is halal and sourced from a local ga farm, and every side and sauce is made in house, so you can tell the difference immediately. ranked my plate by bite and nothing landed below an 3 (on a scale from 1-5).

i saved the best for last with their seasonal mango lemonade to wash it all down and it might be the sleeper hit of the whole meal.

going back before this flavor rotates out, no question.

@omniatlantahotel concert cocktail series 🎤✨

as we all know, the omni is one of the few hotels literally right next door to the benz stadium, state farm arena, the CTR, and the new cosm.

that means not only should you be booking a room here (recently renovated, peep one of my older videos to see the updates!), but you should totally be stopping by the Vue’s bar in the lobby to pre-game before the show when your favorite artists are in town performing.

coming this fall they’ve got curated cocktails for:
• kasey musgraves
• ed sheeran
• weezer
• katseye
• teddy swims
• usher + chris brown
• the neighborhood
• olivia rodrigo

every single cocktail was EXPERTLY mixed (make sure you ask for my boy DJ at the bar). all of the flavors were balanced so perfectly that you could hardly tell there was any alcohol involved until it snuck up on you!

the “turn up the night” was phenomenal but i’m not even gonna lie, something about the “golden hour” was so pleasant and beautiful to taste. the chamomile was such a lovely addition and it almost didn’t even feel like a cocktail.

@animeandwine x @luckystaratl matcha night 🍵🌙✨

not only was this THEE coolest event (that i’ve been trying to catch for the last few popups) but this was also the loveliest restaurant/venue.

i love a small, cozy, intimate place with a stellar menu and amazing service. it makes you want to stay all night.

and let me just say, i’m genuinely blown away by the cocktails that lucky star came up with. to do a matcha AND wine-inspired drink that hit all the notes…incredible. and the coco kage with the clarified milk, matcha, vanilla etc etc…WOW.

now i feel like i need to go back for every drink and especially come try some of their coffee and pastries one day.

and of course i’ll be back for another anime & wine night next time there’s one in atlanta. because duh i love good anime’s, good food, good drinks, and the people who love the same things 💗💗💗

i had an important stop to make in franklin, but no road trip is complete without grabbing food from somewhere that you’ve never tried before.

one thing about me, i’m quick to check yelp and cross reference with tiktok’s before i even look at the menu somewhere and this place passed the vibe check lol

and personally, i always get excited when i DO look at the menu and see so much goodness that i can’t even decide and start feeling like i should just order everything and taste it all.

i smashed the salad before we even hit the road again and munched on some of the fried veggies too. their ranch is SO creamy and perfectly seasoned. nothing beats a good ranch that’s made in-house.

their meats are pretty good too! the bbq chicken was falling off the BONE. and that garlic toast is the perfect addition to it all.

sides were fire too.

stop by next time you’re in the area or make that special trip one day. let em know i sent you to the mountains for it 😂

1670-1680 cal day ✨

it’s honestly been an actual struggle to find recipes that are both healthy, low cal and not just something bland and basic that no foodie in their right mind wants to eat fr.

so i often find myself finding recipes and putting a ~yummier~ spin on them because you can still eat good af in a deficit without feeling like you have to have a tiny portion either (like eating 6 nuggets and a small fry as if that’s gonna satisfy you just because it’s 500 cal lol).

tracking is kind of tough in general but in the age of ai, i’m ngl the apps they have out there rn that can just snap a pic of your food and figure it out for you (minus some tweaking). i’ve BEEN needing to get back on track with my weight loss and sadly this has been one of my tried and true things to do over the years.

hopefully this doesn’t trigger anyone lol i’m just having fun with my healthier foods out here. and yes i love me a good asian dish because they’ve basically mastered good-tasting meals that won’t make you sick and tired of being sick and tired.

you will absolutely find something for everybody here, including more masculine scents.

i went with one that could probably be unisex if you wanted it to be. and they weren’t kidding when they said it lingers for a long long time.

blonde ambition layers SO well with my glossier you reve perfume, too. like…to die for.

i spent years doing scentbird subscriptions to figure out exactly what notes i love and how i like them layered so that made this process way easier for me. i already knew exactly what scents i wanted to sniff.

i could 100% see this as a fun date night activity or even a girls night.

man i can’t even tell y’all how many times i’ve driven by and been like “ayyyy JUICI PATTIES!!!” but because it was either not even open yet or i’m literally always on my way into midtown for work or collabs, i haven’t been able to stop.

but the other day i was leaving the park after a long, hot, and sweaty walk and was like you know what, i want me a juici patty right now 😂

so boom, i slid over there and ordered more than my stomach could handle. i put the breakfast patty between some coco bread and MAN!!!!! best breakfast in a minute. highkey that’s something i’d serve in my own restaurant one day.

sorry there’s no visuals of the golden and flaky deliciousness but i guess you just gotta take my word for it and 1000% come try for yourself!

if you’re looking for an alternative choice to alcoholic bevs, this might be a solid choice especially for summer!

it’s perfect for when you want to relax but you don’t wanna be SICK.

if you’re a complete noob, maybe take it slow but if you’re a regular gardener, have some fun with it try mixes like this!

we also put a splash of grapefruit soda in with the ginger peach flavor and it was super good.

i’ll definitely be peeking around atlanta to grab some more of these in the future.

Black-owned businesses on the beltline 🌲🚶✨

I partnered with THEE @atlantabeltline to celebrate Black Business Month with five incredible Black-owned businesses across three different trails, so there’s one close to whichever side of town you’re on.

Eastside Trail:
• @vineandolives at Krog Street Market — forty-plus oils and balsamics you can taste your way through.
• @masonssuperdogs in Old Fourth Ward — Mason opened it at fourteen.

Southwest Trail:
• @glaciersiceatl near Lee + White — Ian’s been running a two-year program for neighborhood teens out of it since 2021.

Southside Trail:
• @brwnsugarbabe and @staxxatl, both inside @terminalsouthatl in Peoplestown. Brown Sugar Babe started with three hundred dollars and this is the flagship.

Next year, the Atlanta Beltline is expected to complete a switchback access point directly across the street from Terminal South. Until then, you can exit the beltline at Milton Avenue and head toward Hank Aaron Drive. Turn left on Hank Aaron Drive, and Terminal South will be on the right!

Follow all of these amazing businesses, then pick the trail closest to you and go support before the month is out (or literally whenever!).
