This Sunday, these athletes will step up to take on the Tonyrefail Aquathlon:
🏊 400m swim
🏃 5km run

Some of you are racing for a PB.

A HUGE thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part in our Aquathlon! 🏅👏

To our amazing competitors — you absolutely smashed it! 💪 And to our incredible volunteers and marshals — we simply couldn’t have done it without you. 💙

So much hard work went into making the day happen, and seeing everyone smiling, supporting each other and enjoying the event made it all worthwhile.

Our first Aquathlon… but definitely not our last! 😉

Can we take a moment to appreciate our Head Coach, Keith ❤️

Last weekend, Keith travelled to Tenby to support members of Sharks Masters taking on their challenges, and we think that says everything about the kind of coach he is.

For Keith, coaching has never just been about standing poolside. He genuinely cares about the people he coaches and wants to help them build confidence, improve and achieve things they may never have thought possible.

That passion has been there for decades. Keith spent 28 years volunteering on poolside, went on to coach at Welsh level and even left the security of a full-time job to dedicate himself to swimming.

His calm advice, experience and ability to make one small adjustment that suddenly makes everything click have made such a difference to so many of our swimmers.

An icon of Welsh swimming, an incredible coach and someone we feel extremely lucky to have leading Sharks Masters.

Keith, thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for swimming. 🦈❤️

What. A. Weekend. 🦈✨

A few days ago, we were wishing Richard, Josh and Bleddyn the very best of luck.

Now, we’re looking back on a weekend of courage, commitment and incredible achievement — and honestly, we couldn’t be prouder. ❤️

From the nerves at the start line to the emotion at the finish, from race footage and finish line smiles to tired legs, celebratory pints 🍻 and plenty of Sharks WhatsApp banter in between… this weekend has been one to remember.

But behind every photo and every clip is something much bigger:
hours of training, sacrifice, determination, resilience and the bravery to take on something that truly challenges you.

We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve both done to get to this point. The commitment, discipline and determination you’ve shown has been brilliant to see, and it means so much to have Sharks Masters members representing our club overseas in such an incredible event. 💙

On Sunday they’ll be taking on the half-Ironman distance:
