To my Mom and Dad, thank you for all that you have sacrificed for me and my siblings. Without you two, I wouldn’t be where I am today. This is for you, and I promise to keep going until we make it.

Thank you to my family and friends for all your love and support throughout the years. I have never felt so much love and joy at once. I am blessed and thankful for all the memories we’ve made together, and I’m excited for many more to come.

Graduating twice is something I never thought I would be able to do, let alone graduate with honors in both. It wasn’t easy managing sports, a job, and college all at once, but through God, all things are possible

Excited for this next chapter in life.

State 2026 💛🖤
First, but not last.

This weekend I became the first ever in our women’s program to not only qualify for state 4x but to place all 4 years. I’m beyond blessed and thankful to say the least. It’s been an incredible four year journey.

Although I didn’t win my own state title, I had the honor of becoming a 2x state finalist. No words can fully explain how thankful I am to experience something not many get the chance to. With only four years under my belt, I became a wrestler I never imagined I could be.

Thank you to everyone who supported me. If it weren’t for you all, I probably wouldn’t have pushed through this season. Seven months ago, I tore the labrum in my right shoulder(front and back) and had to face the decision on whether to wrestle my senior season through the pain or sit it out. I chose to wrestle and pray for the best.

I had my fair share of ups and downs. At times I felt like giving up when things weren’t going my way. I found myself constantly comparing this year to last year, forgetting how much an injury can really impact your performance. I didn’t always feel like myself on the mat but every single day my coaches reminded me who I am. And when it mattered most, I showed up and left it all on the mat.

The Lord blessed me with incredible coaches, teammates, and lifelong friendships. Now it’s time for a new shoulder and begin the recovery process.

We did it, Carlos. We finally made it happen.
Our girls are state champs and we left with multiple state placers. I couldn’t be more proud of my girls. We made history not once or twice but 4 times.

Little baby ✌🏽

State 2025
Bittersweet ending to this season. Big RC made history once again and placed 2nd at state! Who knew our small team would turn into something bigger it’s truly a blessing to be apart of this journey. Going for 3rd was not the plan. Fell short in the semis but a lot was learned. Although I didn’t have the outcome I wanted. I finally learned how to face my toughest opponent, which is my own mind. I wrestled like a whole new person at state and I couldn’t be happier. Nothing is going to change. I will keep working hard and putting in work to become the best version of myself mentally and physically. I’m hungry for more and I won’t stop until I reach the top. A small setback will be my motivation to become better. God has a plan for me and although it was sad to not reach my goal. I will be trusting in him and his plan for me. Because I am not define by my abilities on the mat.
“He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I will not be shaken” – Psalm 62:6
I want to thank all my coach for this amazing season. As they always believed in me, and never put me down for a loss. Coach Carlos was always proud no matter the outcome win or loss he would always say how proud he was because all he wanted me to do was wrestle to the best of my abilities. Lily was always there to support me through thick and thin. Always encouraged me to become better and made sure I was doing well even when she had to leave due to her pregnancy. Jerry always motivated me and pushed me to wrestle like there is no tomorrow. Dom made sure I always stayed motivated no matter how hard things got. He helped me face my own mindset that was holding me back from being the best version of myself. Tony made sure I never gave up no matter the outcome because leaving with regrets can be the worst outcome. Barajas push my training to the limits making sure I never stopped wresting from every position. Liz and Brea gave me guidance to always trust the Lord and his plan. I am incredibly grateful for all the support I received from everyone this season you guys made it so memorable.

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.”-Romans 15:5

I just want to give a big thanks to God,Coaches,Family, and Friends for helping me make so much improvements these last two years. With only two years Under my belt I was able to go into the state finals for my weight class at 100 pounds. Although I fell short to victory I left the dome with no regret giving it my all to the very last second. It wasn’t an easy journey. Dealing with a back injury put many set backs but with the support of my coaches I was able to push through it. Im thankful for the amount of hours coach Carlos, and Lily put into me this year. I couldn’t have done it without them, but also I want to thank Jara for being the best partner I could possibly ask for. Thank you for pushing me to my limits so that I could become the wrestler I am. Leaving as a runner-up is bittersweet but it’s encouragement to keep working hard. I have two more years and I’m going to make sure they’re my best! Big RC placed 3rd as a team once again our team might be small but one thing is for sure we are big in heart. We put in blood, sweat, and tears to get to where we are and we are not done yet we will keep growing and prove people wrong! Once again thank you everyone for the amount of love and support I have received. May the journey begin for year 3 because it’s not over yet!

That’s a wrap for 22-23 wrestling season! Had the best memories with these girls one of the best teams I’ve been in. We placed 3rd as a team making history once again. If I were to talk to myself a year ago telling her I was going place at state I wouldn’t believe myself. Took many losses but sometimes taking L’s come with big wins in the future. All improvement from now on grateful to God for this amazing opportunity and for always staying by my side through all of it. May All Glory Be To God ☝🏽 taken in Tacoma Dome by @sharonarroyo__
