BLUEPRINTS: where every beautiful home begins! One of my favorite parts of interior design is something most people never see.

Blueprints tell the story of a home before a single wall comes down or a sofa is delivered. Every line represents possibilities, challenges, and hundreds of decisions that shape how a family will live in their home.

Over the years, I’ve collected plans from kitchens, additions, historic homes, remodels, and whole-home renovations. Every project begins here—with careful thought and a vision for what could be.

And blue prints actually used to be BLUE!

Do you enjoy seeing behind-the-scenes posts like this? I’d love to know. taken in Corbett, Oregon by @sharonhockinginteriors

Loving the subtle and sophisticated palette that is coming together for this family! This living area is huge, and every fabric and surface is extra durable for welcoming life with friends and family and a few dogs! Yes you can have a beautiful wool rug in a well loved room! “Wool fibers are durable, naturally resistant to stains, and wonderful for insulation.” @jaipurliving by @sharonhockinginteriors
