Losing a parent that lived far away is weird, it’s not noticing them missing every minute of the day, it’s those moments when something happens and you go to message them, and then you remember they’re gone.
Because even when he wasn’t necessarily there, he was always there, and always proud.

Freddie… Fred, Fredereke, Freddie Bear, Freddoss, Lucifer, Lucy, what ever we call you, you’ll always be my baby.

There is no one I’d let boss me around like you do. You push me to my limits and make new ones every day, but then you’ll turn around and ask me to be your friend or tell me you love me and it all fades away, making me forget all about those two little horns that you hide so well with that big beautiful smile.

Proud mum post 🤎

Tonight we were invited to the Western Shores Learning Alliance public education week Celebration, where Elton was awarded the “Excellence in student Achievement award” “for sparking curiosity and academic excellence in Literacy.

Between the 6 schools included, Elton was the only Kindergarten student nominated.

Elton was anxious but when they called his name he proudly got up on stage all by himself to receive his certificate.
