Official poster + variants by @brujitazz

Lavender Rot is a 1950s period piece, so I am delighted to share this design inspired by the pulpy melodramas of Douglas Sirk and Jacques Tourner.

Quick little history lesson on the time period the film takes place in! There’s definitely not enough media that is set during this significant era of queer history.

And believe me when I say I wrote this script just a couple months BEFORE Fellow Travelers came out— a fun coincidence by @sharpcomet_films

Apologies for not announcing this sooner, but producing is a busy busy job! I pushed back the shooting dates by a month because we absolutely were not ready and needed more time. Fortunately, this extra month has been CRUCIAL and the film will be about 100x better for it. I’m so excited to eventually share this with you.

Stay tuned for more posts and remember to share the gofundme!! by @sharpcomet_films

It is finally here! You can now watch YOU ARE HUMAN, AND YOU ARE LOVER through the link in my bio! I don’t really have all that much to say, other than thank you to everyone who helped me conceive it, create it, and finish it.

I hope you’ll enjoy it. by @sharpcomet_films

I did not forget to post my own bio I’m actually a social media wizard and it was all planned

I will also take this time to state that my original planned release date for the film will unfortunately not come to pass. The post production process has been going very well, but it is also very time consuming. I’m really happy with how it’s turning out and I’m so excited to share it with everyone, but it just needs a little bit more time to make sure it’s the best it can possibly be. Thank you all for your patience, and stay tuned. by @sharpcomet_films
