Here’s October and hopefully some cooler weather. How are you starting your October? What are you doing to end your 4th quarter? We will be cross listing and building up our inventory!

Here are my monthly goals for October. I may be planning a move before the year is up, so I need to get my inventory and death pile worked through! Here’s to starting the month off strong and starting my 4th quarter off strong as well!

Check out this unit in my area. It looks like a good one. But I would be worried the shoe boxes were empty or the shoes may have dry rot. If you were bidding on it, how high would you go?
10 days left, so it could be yours!

For those of you interested in why vehicles are usually not included in the auction, it comes down to paperwork and the potential of getting tie up legally. The tow companies are set up better to handle any issues.

I’ve been getting more comfortable listing bigger and heavier items. I have recently listed this vintage Sunbeam mixer. It comes with 2 sets of beaters, 2 bowls. I listed it on the higher side. How much would you list it for? #sunbeam #appliances #vintageappliances #mixer #kitchenappliance by @sharpsellersnc

Here’s the unit I won this week for $10. I got it mainly for the trampoline for my son. There are a few pieces of artwork that may sell locally. A pair of steel toe shoes that may sell well online or locally. And a pretty hefty garbage bag that will hold up when cleaning out the next unit. #storageauction #storageunit #bidding #trampoline #jesusart by @sharpsellersnc

Would you have bid on this? I put $10 on a handful of units sometimes to see if I get them that low. My son was super excited to pick this one up!

Here is some more of the amazing artwork made by the resident artists. They are preparing for the PawPaw festival and making trophies to hand out for all kinds of awards. If you are in or around Athens, or want to ship to them, they are accepting any trophies to recreate!
Any of my storage unit bidders have trophies sitting around they don’t know what to do with? This is a great way to get rid of them and help out an amazing community!

Shout out to @passionworksstudio in Athens, Ohio. They are an amazing company that seek to inspire and liberate the human spirit through the arts. They are really known for their Passion flowers. Please check them out! So glad we visited them on our trip to Athens!

Looking at storage units to buy. This one makes me a little sad. Obviously a landscaping company that defaulted. Not sure if it’s clippings they never threw away, but I see at least one tree that was alive at one point. Wonder if there would be any way of saving it.

Here’s to a new month and new goals. My family has had a lot going on this summer, but we are ready to get back into the swing of our busy homeschool year and back to listing consistently.

Let us know what your goals are, professional or personal. Would love to lift eachother up!
