My ancestors, guardians and guides with me at the front lines of my life.

I had to work for this connection and it was time and energy well spent. I am still uncovering layers and stories, exploring lands and expanding in my practices. I see this as a gift of my curiosity, desire for depth, and to live a meaningful life that honors where I’ve come from, and is in alignment with my values, beliefs and vision of the future.

What you might miss:

My smile is a lot bigger these days. My spirit a lot more full.

I used to feel awkward and insecure in my skin and self, because I hadn’t fully accepted and loved myself. I was still people pleasing, but this pic was from the moment I began taking control and responsibility for my life and the direction it was going. I felt scared but determined that I was going in the right direction.

12 years later:

A little wiser, happier, more loving toward myself, more patient, soul aligned, ignited and more focused.

Said no one from my past: Where/How have you been?

I’ve been taken care of, supported, loved and provided for in some of the most impactful ways.

I’ve been everywhere and simultaneously just here in the now.

I’ve been tired and happy, exhausted and determined, steady and abundant. Both and.

I’ve been making moves both out loud and quietly.

I’ve been inspiring and igniting lots of people for free and setting wiser limits on what I give.

I’ve been focused on what’s most aligned for me and the future I’ve been building.

I’ve been pitching, networking, iterating and working my heart and soul out.

I’ve been writing on LinkedIn and in my monthly newsletter for empowered business owners.

I’ve been failing, easy on myself, lucky and staying in alignment with the motion of my soul.

I’ve been staying open to change, love, trying new things and how I can best be of service to paying clients.

I’ve been saying yes, no, acknowledging my own mistakes and limitations and listening to the subtle, quiet voice of my intuition.

I’ve been asking great questions and in the right place at the right time.

I’ve been asking for help, reaching out, connecting, catching up, collaborating and receiving more.

Gratitude for all the wonderful opportunities to serve and support I’ve been given.

If you’ve been taught that ‘good’ service means depleting yourself for others, this might challenge everything you believe about giving.

For too long, we’ve been conditioned to believe that losing ourselves in service to others is noble and that depletion equals devotion.

But here’s what I’ve learned: When you serve from emptiness, you’re not giving your gifts. You’re perpetuating cycles of servitude that keep everyone small, including those you’re trying to help.

True service flows from wholeness, not sacrifice. You can be selfless AND have standards. You can give deeply AND maintain boundaries.

Sovereign service means:
🫶🏾Checking your energy before saying yes
🫶🏾Offering your overflow, not your reserves
🫶🏾Setting boundaries that protect your sustainable impact

The world doesn’t need your martyrdom, it needs your magic. And your magic only emerges when you honor yourself as sacred too.

It’s time to make service sustainable and sacred, not sacrificial.
