This quote got quite popular, as it resonated with so many, so I thought why not create something where it can be a physical statement piece in your home, office, or a gift to someone you admire.

Thank you for your support and love for all creative endeavors I refine over time.

And if you missed my previous post, it is a beautiful piece named after my first book "East of a Cold Red Sun" and I just think it is so lovely, go see it for yourself.

Love yall 🤍

East of a cold red sun.
Framed. by @shataraliora

what have you done lately to care for yourself? we often forget ourselves as we get older. we fold into the chaos of the world. we rush. we wake up early. we run out of money. we forget to save. joy comes in small slivers. anxiety comes in waves. we doubt ourselves. we experience rejection from places that used to feel like home. our old outlets are no longer there. our vices are hidden and getting old.

how do we care for ourselves in the midst of all the things? what about the pains we have, physically or mentally with no cure..no way out. how do we drift into the acceptance of what we cannot control?

you lean in. you surrender. you feel it.

and then?

you make a list. you check out of what brings distractions. you plan. you adjust your expectations. you remember your dreams. you pray or chant or meditate in hopes to manifest. miracles are okay to have faith in. they happen. even to people who have made mistakes. you remind yourself you are not alone when it comes to grief. you remember comparison is the thief of joy. you find inspiration in who may have shared the same struggle and how they stretched themselves to greatness when no believed it possible. you go somewhere with different air, even if its the next town over with one hotel. you remind yourself nothing will ever be fair. you forgive yourself. you give yourself grace for ever being naive enough to think it would all be perfect. you enjoy the small things, even if its a cup of espresso and a beautiful view. let them all add up. by @shataraliora
