Sacramento's premiere recording studio

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’d like to extend an offer to anyone interested in a unique opportunity to capture a professionally-recorded performance at an accessible price.

We are privileged to have in our studio a beautifully restored 1915 Steinway Model A grand piano in our live room. It’s on loan for other recording projects and available for a short time. The instrument sounds exceptional in this space, and it’s a rare chance for students or anyone to perform on a historic Steinway in a professional environment.

We’re offering one‑hour recording sessions for $50, which includes a professionally engineered recording and a digital copy of the final performance. This is discounted from our normal rate and does not require our usual five‑hour minimum — just an easy, low‑pressure way for students or players to experience a real studio session.

My name is Jack O’Donnell, owner of Shattered Records in Midtown Sacramento — a purpose‑built, standalone recording studio designed for high‑quality acoustic sessions. I’m reaching out because I’d love to build a stronger connection with local piano teachers and support the hard work your students put into their craft.

If you’d like to book time, a facility tour, or have questions, I’d be happy to talk more

such an amazing day in the studio with our buddy @superpuma916 at @shattered.records this past weekend. we worked hard getting the last of the tracks laid for a handful of new songs coming out soon — so this is actually the only video we remembered to take. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ BUT — while our social media content capturing was super lame — our hit-making game was super strong!! 😅

also — if you make music in or around norcal & your songs don’t suck — you HAVE to book some time at @shattered.records 🤘🏼it’s such an unbelievable spot that is dripping with vibe & built so intelligently with some of the best tools money can buy! all day long i felt like i was in a songwriters playground! 🤩
