Did someone say…:”GIRLS!!!”…my GIRL wanted to create a space just for HER in her master closet & we did just that. Our next SORT will be her hubby’s space but ummmmmm today, we got it together. We purged and I mean we PURGED, and the rest was the SORTedShow….I immediately retired those plastic hangers (because y’all know how I feel about them🤦🏽‍♀️🤣) and installed my favorite velvet hangers, installed my favorite purse dividers @mdesign , created a cute laundry space, and designed a closet theme that works especially for HER. I think that she called her closet a boutique and for that I’m grateful. You did it, Jess!!! You are officially SORTed! I love you. Life is too SORT.🎀

Now that I'm awake and alive..."I wanna thank you, Heavenly Father"....there's this unexplainable JOY that only Virginia State University's Homecoming gives me. This marked my 30th year as an official 🎓degreed TROJAN. Homecoming holds a special place in my heart because it reminds me of that journey to "the stage"....the one that I shared with soooooooo many...the struggle, the we GOIN make it, the hustle, the laughs, the tears, the parties....oh the PARTIES, the late nights, the early mornings, the lifelong bonds and relationships that will forever mean the world to me. For one weekend, here we all are....living our best 90's life all over again at what feels like a family reunion with all your favorite cousins. This is the JOY that can't be described, purchased, stolen, or borrowed...it's sacred and belongs on the Hill far above the Appomattox. It's VSU and I love it🧡I love it💙 ILOVE it!💙🧡💙

Celebrating "Ms. Caroline's" 80th birthday in Culpeper was everything. 💙🥂🎉🎂💙🙏🏽 Who knew that I needed this Shanks/White party ( iykyk) and time with Ms. Caroline and the Golden Girls?!? We are always blessed when in the presence of such greatness. "Cheers to Caroline".

The Beck-Coleman-Grimes Family will FOREVER be it for me.❤️ We are ONE!! This year we took the reunion to "Camp Charles"- in honor of our patriarch Charles Coleman. My family is really a BIG deal...and an ENTIRE time was had! There was an all white awards show, a glow pool party, a birthday party, a family tribute, family libations, camp games: swimming, flag football, water kickball, tug of war, board games, card games, line dancing, paint and sip, Skrewball shots, food, music, "hookah", cousin walks, cousin rides, church, and prayer!! You had to be there! That's it. That's the caption.

Summertime "Auntie Edition". If you think that being a mom is a flex, it is....but can all the Aunties please come to the front??!? There's something magical about being "Aunt" or "Auntie". Watching my nieces grow through TikTok dances, baking, dribbling/shooting/missing😂, pool parties, Ulta runs, grills, goals, and frills, beach days, graduations, college acceptances, first steps, promotions, and knowing that they are kind and gifted in their own way and will someday change this world...is what makes me proud. I've had an incredible summer with my GiRLS. Love yall real bad! ❤️
