Happy heavenly birthday @ricanstrike. 3 years since you left us. 3 years of missing my best friend. 3 years not being able to talk to you, get your advice, laugh hysterically with you, or just hang with each other. I miss you brother. by @shaunblanch

Valentines Day 2023 @lvigilante7 bought a Lego set of a photo of us on our anniversary date from the month prior. Lauren was a big fan of legos and early in our dating I sent her multiple Lego sets during Covid when we couldn’t see each other for months.

We put it together and made homemade pizzas w little hearts on them. On the back of the Lego portrait was a QR code to a song “Bones” by The Killers which I used to send her all the time (cover at the end).

This is a precious memory. by @shaunblanch

Lauren Vigilante was laid to rest on June 23rd. Her ceremony was elegant and beautiful just as she was. Thank you to everyone who showed up, called, texted, sent flowers or planted trees. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, even the weather was mourning yesterday.

“I fell in love with you not for your looks even though you were gorgeous.

I fell in love with you not for your temperament although you were easy going.

I fell in love with you not for your vision although I felt truly seen.

I fell in love with you not because of your popularity, though you were loved by so many.

I fell in love with you not for your kindness, though it touched everyone who crossed your path.

I fell in love with you because your soul was the most beautiful that I had ever met.

Because loving you felt less like finding something new and more like remembering something I’d forgotten.

Because you made ordinary moments feel sacred.

Because when I imagined a future, you were the person I wanted beside me.

And because even now, after everything, when I think of love, I see your face, hear your voice, and feel your embrace.

Love you forever and ever.” by @shaunblanch

Lauren Vigilante passed away yesterday after a long hard battle with Glioblastoma.

Lauren was the most kind, caring, genuine, and loving person that I have ever met. I was immensely lucky to have known and loved her for the years that we shared together.

Getting to spend a year living together was the greatest joy of my life. I will cherish those memories forever.

I wish we had more time, I wish we got the chance to get married, start a family, grow old together. But life is anything but fair.

I love you more than anything and anyone, Lauren. Until we meet again. ❤️💔 by @shaunblanch
