This summer I was asked to take the stage at the @mvaaff leading this Q + A with two film makers i admire (@michele_0608 and @brewsterjoe).

As a storyteller and patron of the African American arts, I could’ve stayed all night discussing this award winning documentary on one of my heros, Nikki Giovanni. Catch this doc on @hbo
