“The Monday following opening weekend of a theatrical production is usually a time to exhale and begin recharging for the performances a few days to come. For the cast and crew of You Got Older there would be little time for either. Less than 10 hours after Sunday’s matinee ended, a three-alarm fire tore through historic downtown Newhall, destroying The MAIN theater and several neighboring businesses.

The show has been postponed until another venue can be found.”

You won’t want to miss our January remount. This cast is stellar. ♥️✨ taken in The MAIN by @shawneebadger

“You Got Older” by Clare Barron (Take 1, Version 1.0) This is the show we had been pouring our heart and soul, our sweat and tears, into. So much of our team’s work burned in the fire that took so much from our community, including our home away from home, The MAIN. This space and all the storytelling I’ve been able to be apart of there and all that was created there, deserves its own post entirely. But this show…the last show to ever perform onstage at The MAIN, was entirely special. An absolute all star team of people came together to tell this story. This powerful story of women, of family, of loss, of love, of heartbreak, of hopelessness, and how to pick up the pieces and move forward when life smacks you down. I love Mae. I love this cast. I love this creative team. The incredible and talented people and beautiful souls who I will be lucky to work with again when we remount. Please consider a donation to our GoFundMe (a huge thank you to Lauren ♥️ for helping us with this effort to replace what was lost…LINK IN BIO). This is not the end. We will be back. by @shawneebadger

WELL. It happened. Our world premiere was last night at @lashortsfest ♥️😭✨ THANK YOU TO OUR WHOLE TEAM, to literally the best performer to act across from @adamjharrington (Best Actor Forever Til Always), and oh captain my captain @justinmhogan who steered the ship so brilliantly and without whom I’D BE LOST!!!!!!!! Set dad @bigkev_ok and magic maker @angeloo.garcia!!! @mickyg01 who transformed CalArts, musical wonder by Karen Tanaka featuring @chadwickcannon, the best writing partner a girl could hope for @roscorg, @you__sunnny who utterly transformed me into a dancer, gorgeous poster shot by @arden.dime, my Disney fam @hotpixelofficial @quinnnoreyko for creating such a masterpiece of all our efforts, @zuzukandilige for being so present with me during an intense scene, @justin_henriksen and @beverlybsteel for bringing their talents and helping to tell this story, to @samyouale, @violet.maeve, @luceiris, @diego.j.hinojosa @ethernet.wang for hanging out on a mountain literally all day and breathing life into this script, @margot.leduy for her costuming magic and @adupdesign for roughing me up with her makeup magic, @brandonmhinsley for transforming my house, @conradhurtt for doing double duty as studio teacher and performer, Michael Blue and Aidan Reynolds for post-production sprinkles on top

Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart to the best of our stunning cast: the most talented little Rowan and her supportive sis Harlowe @theoconnertwins, the talented well of emotion and truth @ariagoodson, the heartbreaking, loving and vulnerable @caitlinrduffy and the grounded, moving, and authentic @gomattedwards ♥️

Thank you endless to everyone. 😭♥️ taken in Laemmle NoHo 7 by @shawneebadger
