2024 Youth Extravaganza

It was a dream to be in a place that continues to give their culture and their hospitality with a smile. It was a dream singing and reading in front of a larger audience. It was a dream to see people shine their light and their visions for a better church and a better world. A dream seems so out of reach and yet, it’s not. A dream can become a reality with a push or two. I am thankful for attending but I’m also thankful for the people I met and reconnected with. They saw my light shine just like I have seen theirs and that’s a dream I never want to end. ❤️

A friendship that is limitless and eternal. A love that overflows and is boundless. To a bond that can never be broken. Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day to My Mom. 💗 Thank you, for always being there for me and for others. Thank you for the small car trips and Starbucks runs before school. Thank you for everything.

Holy Week 2023
April 9, 2023

For the first time in 3 years, I attended every service in Holy Week. It was really quite the experience. A part of me had some doubt because of the traditions I held on to were gone. With doubt, comes opportunities of growing. I somehow know how to play drums…? I got to wear a white robe. Most importantly, I got to worship with the people I love. Next week, I will be on the pulpit once again. So until next week, stay blessed because he has risen for all of us. Sometimes, being delusional is walking at the beach while it’s raining cats and dogs with no sweater. I enjoy the rain. The ocean. The rivers. I enjoy water. My best memories are in bodies of water. 2023 Youth Extravaganza
2/2/2023-2/6/2023

I am honored to be with a group of people in youth ministry for the ELCA. To be with people who look like me and have amazing visions for the church. I am just so humble. To be honest, it feels surreal to be in the same space as adults who literally seen me grow up in the ELCA. The best part about this trip was having @fairymagiic by my side. God brought me here to see that my presence is enough and that my purpose to change and revive the church so that youth can feel enough is definitively more than enough. I don’t post pictures as often as I would like to. It would be a disservice to not share my experience. Thank you MCI, The ELCA Youth Ministry Network, and St. Mark’s.
