📢 Attention 7th Grade Families! Registration for Shawsheen Tech's Project Explore, Session 1 opens Monday, October 19! Project Explore is a FREE after-school program that gives 7th grade students the opportunity to experience hands-on learning at Shawsheen Tech! Over three weeks, students will explore six of Shawsheen's 20 vocational-technical programs, gaining exposure to different career pathways and discovering new interests. 📍 Open to 7th graders residing in Bedford, Billerica, Burlington, Tewksbury, and Wilmington. 🚌 Bus transportation is provided from sending middle schools, with return transportation to a bus stop near each student's home. Back-to-back success for Shawsheen Tech Golf! The Rams delivered another outstanding performance at the CAC 18-Hole Tournament, capturing first place with a team score of 302! Shawsheen finished 12 strokes ahead of Lowell Catholic and 15 strokes ahead of Minuteman to bring home the title once again! Leading the way for the Rams: Joe DaSilva: 75 Nate DiSchino: 75 Danny Grant: 75 Andrew Polleys: 77 Tyler Frediani: 81 Four Rams earned top-ten individual finishes, with DaSilva, DiSchino, Grant, and Polleys all placing among the tournament’s best! There's something special about the people who make up the Shawsheen Tech community! Of our 241 faculty and staff members, 79 are vocational school graduates, including 52 who once walked the halls of Shawsheen Tech as students! Today, these individuals serve in a variety of roles across our school, bringing their own experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds to the Shawsheen community. Exploring opportunities and discovering future possibilities at Shawsheen Tech! Today, Shawsheen Tech welcomed 215 eighth-grade students from Wilmington Middle School as part of our continued commitment to providing access and opportunity to students across our sending districts! During their visit, students received a welcome from school administrators, toured our vocational shop programs, and participated in a Q&A session with current Shawsheen students. It was a great opportunity to explore the hands-on learning experiences and career pathways available at Shawsheen! Thank you to Wilmington Middle School for visiting! We hope you enjoyed your time with us.
