Been feeling awfully sick these past two days and all I been thinking about is you. We are 2 months and 9 days out and when I think of u I get confused and then I get frustrated, largely because I don’t want our memories that were once fresh to become difficult to recall.

Anyway, all I wanna say is that two years ago we found ourselves in a similar place in life. We were both dealing with some difficult times and gravitated toward one another to get through it. From sending surprise go puff snacks when I was sick to taking me out on vday so I wouldn’t feel alone, or staying on FaceTime with me all night when I found out my grandma passed, you were always there. You always knew what to say to make me, or literally anyone — even a stranger, feel better. People say everything happens for a reason and I usually think that that saying is bullshit but I truly believe we went through whatever personal stuff we went through 2 years ago in order to become closer to one another and I will be forever grateful for that. To be able to be your friend is a privilege.

But what’s so impressive is how you built a community. Over the years you’ve created friendships with people who are all similar to u in different ways. When u passed we all came together as a community, and I find solace when I’m with this wonderfully diverse group you created. When we are all together I feel like you’re around, it’s wild. Even with you not being here, you’ve continued to positively impact my life and that of those around me I’m sure. You’ve brought together a dope community of people, one of which I feel lucky to be apart of, and we fuckin miss u so much...

Though these words barely encapsulate a single thing about you or your lasting effect on us all, I really just wanted to put a post together of my favorite memories with you so I could revisit them whenever I’m down. You’ll forever be my Sheementine <3 ily5L by @shawty5977

Happy Father’s Day to my pops, King Manny!! The man with the best one liner words of wisdom and some bothersome quirks. But still he’s the coolest pops around. Gaia and I eventually followed in his footsteps to become doctas, after many years of resistance of course, but like he always says ‘u can’t fight your nature’ and he always told us that medicine was in our nature.
