Even though this sport made me die, this team is one of the hardest things to say goodbye to. It’s weird to think i’ll never have to worry about the course being hilly ever again or study the fastest girls times for that race. Cross country is one of the most mentally challenging sports and i’m glad to say i’ll never have to fight through that again. I’m going to miss this team more than anything bc they felt like a family to me. No more early morning bus rides or rants while walking the course.
