I truly can’t explain the range of emotions from this past year. I have been an auntie/cousin for a long time but when you can’t give them back… it’s different! 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

The ups have by far outweighed the downs and we are forever better because the Lord saw fit to bless us with our son.

Here’s to the countless more memories to be made. My Deuce, I love you to life !!!!💙👑✨

Imagine…

Waking up and starting your day per usual, handling some errands before your husband and bff make you schedule an early doctor’s appointment out of concern due to some symptoms you expressed no serious concern for… only to be told by the doc you need to leave immediately and head str8 to the hospital, no stops.

This pregnancy did not go at all how we thought it would. The blessing we went thru surgery to have and waited patiently for was supposed to be born on Sept.13th but God had other plans. He was born 3 hours later, a lil over two months early.

It was wild how calm I was. I was even telling jokes while they were running tests and checking my vitals. I can’t explain how other than to say, my God!! He was with me and I felt Him! I just knew everything was going to be ok. My husband @rightjus10 rushed to the hospital to make it just in time for my C-section. All of the emotions came flooding over me when they yelled out, “it’s a boy!!” I waited my whole pregnancy to find out what we were having (and so many were mad at me for it lol) and I’m so happy I did. And ever since, we have been blessed with a child that had no issues, just needed to eat and grow. And at my first checkup, I had no more HBP (praise God) and healed in record time!

All things happen for a reason I know this. Nothing could have prepared for what we would go thru. I gave this entire pregnancy to Him and He kept us. Now, we are beyond blessed to have the honor of being parents... at almost 40!

❤️Thank you to my man J and my bf @24_belizeanqueen for being God’s messengers and pushing me to go the doc that day. To all of our family and friends who came to the baby shower, prayed for us, sent gifts, and/or called to check in, we appreciate it all. And last but certainly not least, a special shout-out to our parents and the ladies who put our shower together for us 🥹

This past weekend at @thenomivillage we had my sis Shay Baby Shower surrounded by so much LOVE, Laughter and big anxiousness of the gender of Baby Simmons, which we will find out soon.

Wanna thank @thenomivillage for letting us go alllll out all over the place out there to celebrate the baby.

Thank you to @eventrentalfactory for the beautiful Candy Cart that stored the favors, the beautiful BABY Cake/Cupcakes table and just overall great service to help bring this idea to life!

Gotta thank @oldjoescaribbeangrill for catering the food ( which that chicken and crab salad still on my mind 😂)

And gotta thank everyone else who helped towards the idea and helped put this shower on for Shay. Her tears said it all. ❤️ We love you girl!
