Lately Iโ€™ve been doing a lot of reflecting on my life, my heart, and my relationship with God. I know that if I feel the way I feel at times, there are many other people who are and may need to hear encouragement, and as a Christian I feel as if God would want me to be that encouragement. Any point in our life is bound to feel heavy, but for me senior year has made everything feel heavier, and more meaningful at the same time. There are so many changes, so many unknowns and new chapters, and Iโ€™ve realized how easy it is to hold onto situations longer than I should. Whether it's dwelling, overthinking, or stress about what the future might look like. Iโ€™m learning that God never asked me to carry all of that. One of my favorite reminders is to let go and let God, even when itโ€™s uncomfortable, even when I donโ€™t understand His timing. Trust that God is already working things out in ways you canโ€™t see yet. This season in my life has been teaching me that peace doesnโ€™t come from having control, it comes from surrender. In moments where you feel overwhelmed, unsure, or scared of whatโ€™s next, choosing to lean into Him instead of fear is incredibly peaceful. Iโ€™m reminding myself that itโ€™s okay to not have everything figured out right now, and I'm sure this not only goes for me, but for so many others! If you takeaway any of this, my biggest advice that I can't say enough is to realize that IT'S OKAY TO NOT HAVE EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT RIGHT NOW!!! LET GO AND LET GOD!! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’• โ€œCast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.โ€ โ€” 1 Peter 5:7 โ€œTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.โ€ โ€” Proverbs 3:5 "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." โ€” Isaiah 60:22 by @shaylee_.west
