My nana passed and my sister got married in the same month. So crazy how the universe finds ways of balancing itself. I miss my grandmother so much, she was one of my favorite people in the whole world and taught me the most valuable lessons that have made me the woman I am today. Her support through all of my best and worst moments was essential to my growth. I know she was just as valuable to zoe and her marriage to my new brother in law will be as loving and beautiful as our grandparent’s. by @shaynacodd

How lucky to exist at the at the same time and place as this band who have given me so much. Helped me get through high school and college through all my struggles and feelings of being “other”. Made me feel “awe” even in my darkest times. Gave me friends that see me and allow me to just exist without feeling discomfort of having to act a certain way or be someone I am not. Allowed me to travel and see so many new things. I don’t know who I would be without being given a space and a community to let go of insecurity and doubt, holding me while I dream big and push me to expand and develop my thoughts about the world and myself. To receive love and give love in my own way. To just stand and watch in amazement or to dance even when the outside world is so harsh and wanting for us to be complicit and silent and cold.

To give so much, it is time for them to have time for themselves to recharge with their families and allow for their creativity to grow in comfort ❤️‍🩹 thank you @papadosio by @shaynacodd
