POSTS STORIES REELS
It’s kind of wild what can happen in just seven months. I walked into a networking event one evening, introduced myself to two people I had never met, and had absolutely no idea that conversation would end up changing my life. Today, I get to work with people I genuinely admire, not just as leaders, but as friends and mentors. They believed in me, encouraged me to be exactly who I am, and gave me the opportunity to do work that fills my cup every single day. I honestly wake up excited. I get to meet incredible people, hear their stories, celebrate their businesses, and help share those stories through the amazing publications we create across Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that the right job isn’t just about what you do, it’s about who you do it with. So here’s to taking chances, introducing yourself, showing up to the networking event, and trusting that one conversation really can change everything. I’m so grateful for this team, for every client and partner I’ve met along the way, and for the opportunity to keep doing work that feels meaningful. Especially to @adgirldena and @shaynamace … Life has a funny way of putting the right people in your path. I couldn’t be more thankful that ours crossed. ❤️ #bravamagazine #personamagazine #chicagostyleweddings #neiturnermedia #grateful by @shaynamace

Experience a day in the life of BRAVA’s editorial director, @shaynamace! ✅ Morning meeting with the @wisvetsmuseum for an upcoming feature. If you haven’t been, it’s FREE, and a great stop to learn more about Wisconsin’s history. ✅Photo opp at the rainbow crossings project (thanks @friendsofmac_!), located at the intersection of Mifflin and State streets. Since 2010, over 20 North American cities have implemented rainbow crosswalks to celebrate their local LGBTQIA community. ✅ It was fun to hear @jazmynnpcfbw in her element, talking about Networking for Introverts at @thebusinessforummadison’s monthly luncheon. She was excellent! (And, we spy a great photo by @azenaphoto in her presentation.) ✅ @Madisonbiz’s Next Big Thing networking event was held at @centrodanecounty’s gorgeous new building. Attendees got to experience their El Mercadito de Centro, held every Thursday from May through October (4-8 p.m.), when weather permits. Vendors have fresh veggies, bakery items and tasty specialty foods. And, that’s a wrap! 🎬❤️ by @shaynamace
