The hardest challenge & the greatest blessing… being just a mom.

This past year has been the hardest year of my life. After becoming a SAHM I poured my entire self into motherhood. And then I had another baby and postpartum hit me like a bus, especially with my husband doing travel work. I lost friends & lost any sense of self outside of just being a mom.

But the truth is i’d do it again and again for my kids. It’s just this very small part of my life that we are living in. I know they won’t be little forever, so I’m trying to capture the little moments to realize how truly lucky I am to clean up toys & have to listen to the paw patrol theme song for the billionth time.

I praise Jesus for the family & life he has provided for me, but especially grateful that he’s given me a season to just be a mom in. #SAHM #JustAMom taken in Greenville, South Carolina by @shayyylewis
