I don’t remember a time when I didn’t have a thing for rusted metal and old tools, so today I was so excited to spend some time hanging in Red Hook, (Brooklyn)

mesmerized by the tools and bits satisfying my rusted metal fetish with a visit to the impressive studio of @she_weld

The bits— incredible.
The work— beautiful.
The conversation— artful + inspirational.
The day— perfect, ending with cocktails at Sunny’s!

The Lotus Pan by @she_weld in action.
We made buttermilk scones for breakfast. These pans are handmade by artist and metal worker, Marsha Sue Trattner in Brooklyn. They’re gorgeously functional and can be hung on the wall when not in use. Like art! Because it is art :)

These puppies are available at @worldsfairgallery through June 15th 👌 by @she_weld
