I will never be too busy for this. 🤍

Before the emails, the appointments, the never-ending to-do lists, and the chaos of everyday life… we have our mornings.

Every morning, Kimber and I make time for our morning cuddles. It’s our little reset before the day begins. No rushing, no distractions. Just us.

I grew up doing this with my own momma, and I’ve done it with all three of my babies. The older two just had the audacity to grow up on me.

I love being a business owner. I love chasing big dreams and building a life I’m proud of. But one thing I’ve always promised myself is that success will never ever come at the expense of being a present mom.

Because what’s the point of building a beautiful life if we’re too busy to enjoy the people we’re building it for?

The business is something I’ve built. But being their momma? That’s the greatest thing I’ll ever be.

And as long as she’ll let me, our morning snuggles aren’t going anywhere. 🥹

Rich in life. 🤍

Because I get to wake up every day and run a business that fills my cup, pour into my clients who have become more like family, work alongside people I absolutely adore, AND still be the mom who shows up for her kids.

Evennnnn if that means randomly checking them out of school for a little fun. 🤭

Building my business was never just about “making a living.” It was about building a LIFE I love and being present for my family.

These fun moments are what remind me just how blessed I am. 🫶🏼

The last couple of years have stretched me in ways I never expected.

There were moments I literally felt like I was on the brink of losing everything I had worked so hard to build. I sacrificed a lot, questioned myself (a lot) , and wondered if changing direction meant I was failing.

However, during that season, I had been intentionally praying differently- and it was thru the darkest times my husband reminded me “Shea- I know it’s hard to see it right now- but you’ve literally prayed for this”… I had been fervently asking God to change whatever needed changing in me, my business, and my life so I could walk closer with Him and use what He gave me to glorify Him.

I even prayed, “God, if there are people in my life or business who aren’t supposed to go where You’re taking me, remove them.”

Funny how we pray prayers like that…and then we’re shocked when God answers them.

Because sometimes the answer doesn’t look like peace at first. Sometimes it looks like loss, closed doors, changed relationships, and plans falling apart…

I had to pivot. I had to let go of what I thought my business & life was supposed to look like. And I had to learn that changing direction doesn’t mean I had failed.

Sometimes the pivot IS the answered prayer.

I don’t know exactly what every chapter ahead looks like, but I know who I’m trusting with it.

Keep praying. Keep growing. Keep trusting. Give it to God. 🤍
