very very grateful for everything that i have learned over the last 13 months at aveda 🤍 i started off feeling generally very unsure about myself and what i wanted, and i’m leaving with more confidence than i’ve ever had. a huge, huge thank you to the awesome, wickedly talented people that i met while i earned my education. i put a lot of emphasis on making new friends, and i’m so thankful for everyone who kept me going on my toughest days!! i’ll always be inspired by the creativity, dedication, passion, and poise that my peers have, and i strive to strengthen those qualities in myself!!

to jake: i blacked out during my little grad speech, but special special big thanks with hugs and kisses to you. you’re the best boyfriend in the entire world and you held my hand through it all. and bought me so many burritos from maizal for lunch. i love love love you! 💐

presenting: my social media fusion project - an ode to 2000s girlhood ♡

picture this: it’s a warm, sunny saturday, and you’re waist deep in barbies, polly pockets, LPS, my little pony…. you still use sponge tip applicators for your claires eyeshadows, and your lipgloss comes in a little sparkly heart-shaped ring. life is good 😭💕🍬✨

nostalgia was almost the sole inspiration for this project 💫 the sweet, distinct smell of kid makeup, chunky star glitter, lollipops, dolls, oh my! i truly collaborated with my inner child on this one and we worked super hard - i’m so pleased with how it all came together!!! ☺️💝

mannequin was lightened and colored with @aveda purple enlightener and full spectrum vibrants 💋

also… heyyy, long time no see!

i have lots of updates — first and most important, i joined the @ash.salon team in the beginning of may, and i am loving every second! i’m currently working through an apprenticeship with my fellow assistants, and i wouldn’t have it any other way tbh. i’m so grateful for the extended support while i build upon the skills and confidence i gained in school 🫶🏻✂️

i get to attend some really exciting classes later this month, so i’ll have some more hair content to share! in the meantime, i’ve thought about making a couple short vlogs that offer a peek at what it’s like being an assistant :0 let me know if this is something you’d enjoy watching!!

i’m so excited to continue this new chapter. salon life is lots of work but it is SO much fun!! 🙂‍↕️💝

i got to do THEE CUTEST neapolitan color correction on thee coolest dude!! this was such a fun challenge and i seriously enjoyed every second. pleeeease more fun hair in 2026! come to me with all your crazy colorful ideas and lets DO IT!!! 🍡✨🤎🍦

i had to include before pics, but i also wanted to throw in the blonde we got to after the initial correction… she deserves a moment… look at her… love her… i’m thoroughly obsessed

⏮️ reverse balayage ⏭️

i am so in love with the way this came out that i am genuinely kicking myself for not getting a before pic!!! this was my first time doing a reverse balayage/freehand lowlights and i had SO much fun 🤭 we diffused the blonde balayage that she already had and turned it into the prettiest dimensional light brown - then finished it off with a trim and a soft blowout ⭐️❤️‍🔥

hi friends!! i just wanted to pop in and tell you all about our food drive ❤️‍🩹

this holiday season, aveda arts arlington will be hosting a food drive in support of the Arlington Food Assistance Center. this has been in the works between myself and my outstanding campus director for about a week now, and i am so pleased that we were able to get all the details ironed out this fast!! shouts out to bradley 🙂‍↕️

we all understand the financial difficulties that come with the holidays, but these difficulties are even more detrimental to those experiencing food insecurity. no parent should have to pick between food for themselves or gifts for their children - but unfortunately, these tradeoffs become much more prevalent this time of year.

however, donations to the AFAC make a direct difference. in times like these, where prices are already high, your generosity means the world. join us in supporting our wonderful community!

reaaally kicking myself for not grabbing a before pic because a lot of work went into this one!!!! we did a full foil to get her as bright as possible, and then toned with 10N + equal parts v/gr and lt y/o to get the prettiest blonde. it’s the perfect temp 😛

got to do the color correction of my dreeeaams on my beautiful friend 💝 i LITERALLY manifested this appointment. i have been craving a vivid transformation since i got onto the floor, and it was finally my turn!!! 🥹🎀🌸💗

our goal was to be vivid all over while still maintaining her hair health (and try to have her out the door by 3ish‼️), so we decided on this cutesy dimensional pink!!! i’m so so pleased with how everything came out, it was such an awesome challenge and she sat like a rock for me. thanks for the trust and patience 💕💘💕💘💕💘
