Available again (in other words: I came across some copies that were not stored / filed properly)! Shearing Pinx and Soft Shoulder w/ their original line-ups circa 2006 (both groups are still active circa NOW), though not released until Gilgongo worked on a reissue of Shearing Pinx’ ‘Poison Hands’ CD on vinyl circa 2014 and the group mentioned having an unused track from that era (maybe that same session even(?)). 5” lathe in 7” packaging (they’ll be listed on the Gilgongo Records Discogs / mail-order). My personal 2 cents is that Shearing Pinx are one of the most criminally underrated groups of our time- highly productive, incredible “song” sensibility on the LPs but also comfortable with going way-out-of-bounds as well. Such a great group. by @shearingpinx

Came upon this cassette of live action extremely poorly recorded on a walkman on a tour in 2008 >> “Getting L’aids Wolf” was featured on that @aids_wolf triple tape that @zumaudio put out when Erin (Pinx) and Steve (Chrome Jackson/Arab On Radar) joined in!
This took place during Pop Montreal at Divine Orange on Oct.08. I believe it was the premiere of that Arab On Radar documentary too. by @shearingpinx

A funky ass boat-like Shearing creature now exists > it’s called CRYPT TRIPS, an archival vessel featuring 40plus tracks spanning 12 cassettes. Many of the songs are alternate versions of material from or orbiting the making of both WEAPONRY + NIGHT DANGER LPs which was originally supposed to be a double album(!) Peppered off with some live shrill, radio frizz, hams etc..
It also doubles as a shitty instrument!
