Hey back mom and dad, how am I doing you ask?
Well, I'm embarrassed to say that I've felt defeated these past several years. I've let the simplicities of life kick my ...
"You have to fail to succeed" yikes. i don't like it, but i know it's true.
I've come to a point where I feel I have failed more than I should have. For so many years I've beaten myself up for letting this trial feel so huge compared to the worlds.
What I've come to realize time and time again is that although my burden is feather weight compared to others, comparing is not the purpose of our lives.
it's just a part of life.
The purpose is to 'bear ye one another's burdens'
Christ asks us to mourn with those that mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort.
Nothing crazy, right?
Hug somebody, send someone a nice message, make a meal for the struggling, compliment a stranger.
We aren't meant to fully understand the struggle of others, that is the whole purpose of The Atonement of our brother Jesus Christ. But we can see when others are struggling so that's when we do our part.
Like I've said before, it's ok to feel burdened down by even the little things.
He understands YOU and He is our strength in weakness.
I hope you feel loved always.
You matter!

Our very first Loaded Bible Night is officially in the books… and our hearts are so full. 🥹🤍

What started as an idea became a room full of women gathered around God’s Word, highlighting Scripture, writing prayers, adding notes, sharing stories, laughing together, and encouraging one another in Christ.

Our prayer is that these Bibles become more than a craft. We hope they become well-loved companions that continue to point each woman back to Jesus for years to come.

Thank you to every woman who trusted us to be a small part of your faith journey. We already can’t wait for the next one. 📖✨

Compassionate
Humble
Forgiving
Obedient
Patient

It’s always around this time that my load feels a little too heavy ❤️‍🩹
Oddly enough, social media sometimes helps keep me grounded. Why?
Because while it still highlights the beautiful parts of people’s lives, it also now shows some of their darkest moments too. You begin to realize everyone is carrying something.
And just because someone else’s burden looks “heavier” than yours does not mean you have to feel guilty for struggling with your own!
His invitation is still: “Come unto me, ALL ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28–30
Go to Him when you feel exhausted. Overwhelmed.
When life feels like more than you can carry. The weight is not meant to crush you. It's what teaches us to rely on Him.

To know Jesus Christ is to know that His Atonement can strengthen us wherever we are in our journey.
As Elder Bednar taught,
"He has perfect empathy and can extend to us His arm of mercy.
...
We also will pray for the strength to learn from, change, or accept our circumstances rather than praying relentlessly for God to change our circumstances according to our will. We will become agents who act rather than objects that are acted upon"

So share your load with Him, with your village, even with strangers. Life becomes lighter when we stop trying to carry everything alone.
Our mortal life was never meant to be perfect. It was meant to be lived fully!
Messy, sacred, hilarious, heartbreaking, and beautiful all at once.
