🎾 Our first ever SheCanServe Culture Cup is here!

Join us for a Black History Month celebration of tennis, community and Black culture, on and off the court.

Expect a 90 minute coached session with specialist coaches, followed by a mixed doubles tournament. Enter with a partner or sign up solo and we’ll match you with someone. There’ll also be music, food, prizes and plenty of good energy. All levels are welcome at the coached session.

And the big question: who will be crowned the winner of the very first SheCanServe Culture Cup? 🏆

📍 Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre
📅 Sunday 25 October 2026
⏰ 3:30pm to 8pm

Book the coached session, the tournament or both. Tickets are out now via the link in our bio.

The beads. The bows. The curls. The looks and moments we’re still talking about 🎾💗

The tiny details from different parts of our culture which shaped some of the most iconic tennis looks. The denim tennis fit from Serena Williams, the natural afro from Taylor Townsend and cainrow looks from Naomi Osaka.

These details carry personality, culture and memories. They remind us there’s more than one way to look like a tennis player, and plenty of room to make the game your own.

This Black History Month, we’re celebrating Black women bringing all of themselves to the court. The creativity, the elegance, the individuality.
The ✨black girl magic✨

Because representation matters 🤎

Which black athletes look will always be iconic to you?? Ours for sure is Serena’s Denim look, ICONIC! 🤩🤩🤩

So ofcourse we had to bring in @laurynjb_tennis to teach you all how!

Lauryn will be coaching alongside SheCanServe coaches to deliver a 6-week serve course!
The course will break down the serve and build it back up, you will still get the chance to rally and play matches but the main purpose will be to improve your serve!
