Remember when I said I was hosting for Sukkos? Well, here’s part two!

Four meals, over ten people at every meal, and somehow I thought this was a good idea.

Between prepping all the food, and trying to get everything ready,while having 3 kiddos at home..here’s what actually made it onto the menu.

Here’s what was on the menu:

🍗 Stuffed chicken
🐟 Creamy baked salmon
🥩 Flanken & chuck eye roast
🍲 Soup
🥦 Shawarma cauliflower
🥕 Cooked vegetables
🥔 Baked potatoes
🍞 Homemade challah
🥗 Fresh salads & dips
🍽️ Kugel
🍰 Desserts

And this doesn’t even show all the prep that went into it!

And you know what? Chag was AMAZING! All the food came out incredible, everyone had such a good time, and looking back, every bit of stress was totally worth it.

Maybe connecting to Hashem doesn’t have to look perfect. Maybe it’s just remembering that even in the middle of the work, the kids, the errands and the chaos… He’s right there. 🤍

Going into this new year, I’m reminding myself: I don’t need to connect perfectly. I just want to connect more.

We found the cutest little getaway in Sleepy Hollow, NY
close enough for an easy escape, but it genuinely felt like we went away. 🏨✨

The perfect little reset with the family without the flights, crazy drive, or complicated planning.

THE BIG ONE 🎈⚽️🏀🎾

How has it already been ONE whole year with our Mendy?! 🥹
365 days of the sweetest smiles, the happiest little boy, and chasing every ball he can get his hands on. 😂

You came into our family and somehow made everything feel even more complete. Watching you grow this past year has been the biggest gift.
